Improved Handling Settings | The Crew 2

- I've been playing around with the various settings for the handling and I think i've made some improvements. Give them a try and let me know what you think!
My Settings:
Traction Control: 8
ABS: 10
ESP: OFF (Important)
Slide Help: 8

Appreciate this so much man, the cars feel way too heavy
ESP: reduces the cars power in order to gain traction. More + will limit the power of the car in order to maintain traction, end result the car is and feels slower in corners but are less likely to slide 😊
This was extremely helpful and useful. Now I can take corners with more linear trajectory and at least controlable sliding. Thank you so much. Your video is a blessing.

Just tried this tune/ settings on a few different races and I have to say this vastly improved my enjoyment of the game.

I find the traction control settings need to be lower, i can't bring the tail out right that high.
I sort of have improved the flight settings too, I have a top top tip for that one, game changing imo. only hovercrafts, and jet boats pissing me off now lol, especially jet boats i think.
- - the main top top flying tip, imo, is deadzone - increase dz quite high, no more dodgy angles when holding a loop or a roll. only for flying mind. For fast bikes if you like to lean forward whilst a lot, and do not stay straight - also increase steering DZ, but not as much as for the plane up to say 1/3 DZ for a plane, up to around a 1/4 DZ for a fast street bike.
(i suppose if your boats go skewif, try the dz on those, but boats for me go straight on 0dz anyway)

I 100% agree with esp. one of the first things I turned off. I never knew why it made everything feel so bad only that it did.

Sub #91 here. Good video. Glad someone is making sense of this game. Hoping to see another vid on the specific settings. Would be great to see how to tune understeer out of cars. Specifically the F1 car. So stupid that in high speed turns it understeers so bad that the front tires smoke.

Gonna try your settings. But first off I have to hand it to ya. You are the first I have seen that uaea numbers. When you are to copy others to try them out you have to chance it. Was it an 8 or a 9.. thank you for that ;)

I would say TC is a Arcade Racer so totally no Need For a wheel also I would Maybe call a Wheel For TC a Little Bit overkill

Great video very helpful man. The developers dropped the ball with all the driving settings and dynamics which unfortunately makes you feel like a shitty driver and makes the game suck if you don’t get use to it.

Little late but, the video's before they changed the menu, if you still haven't found it , go to performance in the car you want and press the touch pad (if on ps4)

Mine doesnt show slide help it shows drift assist and i turned it all the way down and it made the car drift way to much

I set my steering linearity to 0, deadzone to 0, clamping to 1 below max, what i got is more controllable drag car.
If i set steeing linearity to max, my drag car won't even turn

I hope this changes how i drive because i bought this game because it axtually looked like a great game but when i play its the worst driving experience ive ever had on a driving game..you cant even turn a corner properly..the left and right turning is just weird

Sorry I think I'm confusued: Should I turn off completely traction control or put the slider at 80% like you did in the first part of the video?
You can set Traction to whatever feels right. 100% is fastest, 0% is more fun lol

Select the car you want from the Vehicles menu, then go to performance and select "Pro Settings"

Eric Kirby try slowing down sometimes. If u go up a hill and it suddenly flattens out u can easily spin out at high speeds
