Meanwhile in 2022, iRacing has made a console game meant for dirt racers alike that got a lot of sim racer playing World of Outlaws: Dirt Racing that they've decided to make a second one on the same engine with the same company, adding more series and tracks to the the game. And now in 2024, we've got World of Outlaws: Dirt Racing 24.

Another perfectly executed race, I don't know how you do it. 🤣 I know you like the simplistic look with no hud on but with raceelement telling you what the tyre temps are or what the weather will be in 20 minutes etc you would have much better races. When it became undriveable is when the pressures/temps of the wets went through the roof. It is all data that drivers would have in the real world so I'm surprised you wouldn't want it.

that quali lap got invalidated when he hit you because an invalidation at that corner effects the current lap AND the next lap, the message did pop up telling you.

loving AMS2 - you will always have the iracing fanboys saying its not a sim, but for me its as close to being a sim as it needs to make it a challenge to be quick, and it is consistent. None of them are real sims, they are all sim'ish, and AMS2 is great fun for on and offline, which puts it a cut above the competition

For me I would love a CanAm pack of cars (plenty of scope there!); a Historic Le Mans (No chicanes !); A couple of short ovals (Milwaukee and Bristol maybe ?)

Thank for the video! Been enjoying AMS2 more lately (its just unbeatable in VR) but there's only so much single player to before wanting to test yourself against others. I'm also hoping more online stuff will be available with 1.6

The part about the tire model makes me kinda nervous. I really like the current model. It's maybe not super realistic but it super fun IMO. I just hope they don't let the pendulum swing too much to the other side were it becomes too twitchy.

That is a sizeable update. As Sebring is never going to come to ACC maybe I will give it ago when it finally comes to AMS2.

Are there rumors about new tracks (except of the American ones discussed in the video and the news from Reiza)? I was surprised by the Nürburgring Betonschleife this spring :-)

When you first pitted i reckoned you were a lap or two too early to get to the finish. Then my race went to pieces.

Good vid but for me I far prefer to have linearity on full and clamping fully off. Allows you to throw a car round a corner and have the most precise input possible. Also I think The Crew 2 is the worst driving game I have ever played in my life, the only title I can think of with worse driving is Outrun from 1991

these new gen stock cars are wack in compared to the 2019 series, in ams2 those cars are just unreal.
