This boat was one of three bought and fitted out in Guernsey around 1997/98 my stepson bought it of the original owner in 2003 and I steamerd it from GY to Salcombe on 26 feb 2003 in a south east 5to6 it took 12 hrs for the trip. Son then paet exchanged it for a 26 cygnus from Plymouth.
Your lobster pots are so different than ours on the east coast of Canada. The old school ones have the same shape as yours, but are made from slats of wood and the curved part would be bent saplings. New lobster parts are ugly rectangular boxes with zero style. When I visited Newlyn a couple of years ago I was surprised to see yours all wound with tarred twine. And then shocked at the price per lb for lobster!!
First boat I worked on was the Baltic catching Blue Circle off the Pol. Had to give it up. Every day it was getting harder.
