Not a bad office you work... nice sustainable way fo fish too...hopefully your pots weren't stolen, your job is hard enough and much needed by people. Keep it up
Those Bass look good. I caught one whilst fishing off my sail boat, on the east coast, took three meals to eat it, so tasty. Enjoyed the video. Peace and goodwill
It’s a poor affair bud, shows it’s not just happening on our side of the Lizard but yours too. I had a 2 sets out on a Thursday night and had a string missing by Saturday morning. Had over 20 pots stolen in the last 2 years. Good video. Good luck. 👍🏻
Someones either cut the end off or gone off with your pots, shows the hard life of inshore fishing, used to enjoy spending days around the harbour when my dad was on the crabbing boats in the 90's
Watching from Washington State, USA. We don't have lobster, we have Dungeness crab, salmon, and a variety of ground fish. Winter weather is on a par with U.K. waters. 1-3 day weather windows. My boat has a cabin. AND heat!
Great video. Just subscribed. I’m surprised you threw back the dogfish in that they are one of my favourite eating fish. When I was younger, my grandfather used to catch them and we almost lived off Huss (or rock salmon!)
Cheeky maybe, but what conditions n locational aspects do you choose for bass, depth, bottom etc, and what do you mostly catch on, lures, bait ?? Im up newquay way and fish off a kayak. Any advice or tips would really be useful. Great video, lifestyle and outlook on the ups n downs of doing it your way..
Industrial fishing and ... tuna!! They are everywhere here in North Brittany (France) and literrally swallow almost all other fishes since the last two years
How far do you go out from Penzance? When I lived in St Martin's we used to follow the Scillonian or the Gry for Mac and used to get loads . This is in the late 90s mind Thanks for the vid.

Maybe the star fish pulled the pots away to use as decoration in their sea homes? 😅
Some man hualing pots by hand, good effort.
Great to see you wearing a flotation vest, too many think they are invisible!
Invincible or unsinkable possibly?
Is someone lifting 'nighthawking' your pots on you? It sure looks like they are. Cracking show of bass though.
Yeah I enjoyed that .. sort of 'warts en all' wet day. Subbed & ticked
That's why they call it fishing, not catching.

It used to be virtually impossible to not catch mackerel anywhere around the British isles . Where have they gone ?
climate change, warmer waters, moving further north and finally tuna, hence why bass are gettting smaller out on wrecks
