I have one of the Hermes eye palettes (Ombre Modorees) and one of the satin lipsticks. I think the packaging and the formula is fantastic for both!❤❤ i want the the plein air highlighter or a blush now.

I got a few lipsticks, but those are so heavily scented and the scent doesn’t go away- I’m sensitive to scents and was told by the salesperson that the scent would fade, but it is long lasting. I gave them to my sister who’s insensitive to scents and she liked using them.

I could not agree more! I fell for the beautiful pink satin lipstick and it is very drying but the packaging is everything! Just for nice pictures 😅 It does bug me that they dont invest in quality research or production having such a great brand to guard! Anyways…fully agree Lula! I love Dior and Chanel beauty, totally different quality!
Oh dear! I just ordered over $300 worth of lipstick and nail polish from Hermes. I have not tried them on even because there is no store near me. I called and they can't be returned if you try them on. I was told "they have to be able to be resold" to get a refund/return. As if Hermes doesn't make enough off the inflated products! Maybe I will just return them without trying them on. Glad I found this video first!
Hi Cat! It might be worth trying one of the lipsticks or polishes before returning. They didn’t work out for me, but there’s a chance you could like them. ❤️ I still use my Hermes nail polish and it’s fine, it’s just not any better than say a $10 bottle of OPI ( in my opinion). Good luck with whatever you decide!!
Curiosity gets me too sometimes. Haha the orange costs extra! I really like Dior and Bobby Brown makeup, but even that I usually get 15-20% off at Nordstrom or Ulta. I really appreciate this review because I've been tempted by the Hermes products. Oh that Clarins lipstick looks really interesting!! I've never seen it before 😊

Great point about bait! Unfortunately beauty isn’t a category that moves the needle much in terms of getting an offer. I’d recommend buying from other categories before beauty, but if you like the makeup it’s a nice addition to add to your bait.
You are biased being that your entire channel is configured around “bargains”. Your channel isn’t let’s say I didn’t see where your channel was primarily makeup tutorials so your claims are swayed.
To be completely honest, I’m a bit confused by your comment - I don’t understand the point you’re trying to make. I used all of these Hermes products and compared them to similar products from other luxury and drugstore brands. In my personal experience, the formulations of the Hermes products were not superior to the less expensive products.
While I respect everyone’s opinion on luxury beauty you have to appreciate the luxury beauty experience to be a luxury beauty user. My Physicians formula blush comes in a cheap box and cheap plastic compact and a plastic Rite Aide bag. Where the product is made also plays a factor. Since you review luxury bags it’s nearly the same context. Do I think it paying $105 for a face powder is worth it? Well yeah if I say it is and if I use it and I like it. I love the extra effort put into the packaging and the design of the packaging as well.
I’ve never tried Hermes beauty, but their packaging is beautiful….which I think is how so many people get sucked in 😅

Excellent video. I really like Hermes beauty products.
For over 50 skin I find the Nars blush formula inelegant and dry looking on the skin. The Hermes formula is much more silky and blurring.

Do you find the Hermes bronzer shade Atlas overly warm toned?
I don’t find it to be overly warm toned on me, but I use it sparingly. Like the blush, I find a little to go a long way.
The Blush didn't come with a brush right? At least most other luxe does 😅

I've never tried any of Hermes beauty products. I only wear mascara. I love Chanel Inimitable, Dior Diorshow, Gucci and Better than Sex
