    Really like this show because of the mix between the young and the older gentleman. Mostly because of what they do and how they do it together.

    I have looked at these machines a few times but not got the space for one. Your shop is coming along nicely. Even with that beast of a machine I would not fancy sanding 700 boxes. Keep up the good work and keep the videos coming.

    Would love to have a sander such as this. I think I noticed you checking the direction arrows on the paper. So the paper direction is important like any other belt sander, right? Ever put one on wrong?

    • @TodaysCraftsmen
      @TodaysCraftsmen  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      As far as I know the direction is for the seam in the paper. If you put it on backwards you run the risk of breaking the seam. But yes, we have run them backwards at times and never broke them.

    I am researching oscillating edge sanders and I love what I have seen on this machine , BUT the issue is the availability of 99” belts, I think they screwed the pouch on that spec, should have designed it for 89” belts to sell in the USA. Maverick abrasives make 99” but at min pack of 6 belts
    packs. The belt price is fair at $90 but damn a variety of 3 or 4 grits adds up quickly for an initial outlay. 😮

    • @TodaysCraftsmen
      @TodaysCraftsmen  6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Felder sells the belts individually at about $30/each I believe. We’ve gotten them from Maverick and Uneeda but yes they’re typically a more custom run.
