Well, I didn't really notice the arms, but your videos are terrific - wish I could do mine half as well. Loved your 350F videos and have referred to them, you are thorough and informative! Cheers buddy.

Thank you so much for these awesome videos. Enjoyed every video you did and i learned so much from them. I curerently have issues with my water pump o-ring (near wheel chain) and wanted to rebuild the engine myself. Would you also advise putting gasket sealant on external parts before
Torquing them out? Is it also possible replacing that o-ring without putting the whole engine down? Thanks in advance. Ride safe!

Did you ever get a new washer for the oil cooler? Or o ring? The manual calls for new ones. I got the o ring but don’t really feel like I need the washer. If you re used it did it end up leaking at all? Thanks!

I always replace all seals and orings. It probably won't leak though If it's not damaged

@@DeWoodysShop Thanks me too. Did you even get a new shift shaft oil seal? Might as well right?

@@frankiemarchese2978 yes I ordered every seal. No point in taking the engine apart and not replacing a 2$ seal.

They are Yamaha manuals. I get them from the r1 forum usually. www.r1-forum.com/threads/download-r1-service-manuals-here.545105/

I have a 06 r1 and it has a ticking noise, its hard to hear at idle but you can it really hear it under load. It still feels strong but noise is annoying. I've changed the cam chain tension. Nothing changed. Any suggestions what it might be. Thanks

@@albertwhite8218 generally speaking it could be lots of things but Google r1 rod knock and see if that's about the same or different
