I just bought a,1.8 2002 45 for £220 to take the engine for my 1982 Austin metro. Only thing is I like the 45 now and been using it daily with no issues. Excellent car with a bad rep in the uk for no reason.

Depends what you understand as "popular". They are popular in UK as many are still on the roads there, but they are more popular in a sense of being unique and cool outside UK.

That is one very well done and creative video!! But you should try and get an MG ZS 180 version of these cars, same body shell etc but with the larger 2.5 litre quad cam V6, mated to a 5-speed gearbox. Amazing cars and very rewarding to drive...!!!!
