Dollar tree has those packages of colloidal oats for soaking, like the aveeno ones but only 1.25 for 3.
It's a staple for me since I developed an unbearable eczema rash on my neck that I could not get rid of!
You know what took care of it? Aquation soothing lotion with oatmeal, aloe Vera and ceremides. ... also a dollar tree find !! I was STUNNED! A huge bottle too! Couldn't believe it!

My favorite places to waste time are the library and the grocery store. I love looking at different products on the shelves even if I have no interest in buying them. Same for books. And one of my favorite things to do when I'm traveling is to check out grocery stores, especially in other countries. It's fascinating trying to figure out what the actual product is when you can't understand the language. I always marvel at all the varieties of different cookies and chocolates and meats LOL. Other countries have a lot more variety of raw meats available than America.
Also, I tried a Kindle but I just don't like it. I much prefer holding a book in my hand. I'm very old school that way. The satisfaction of looking at the book cover, turning the page, even the way the book and Library smell. It all adds to my experience.
Library for window shopping is brilliant! I'll have to remember that! I spent $8 on 4 jelly candies at the patisserie last week when I had to kill some time 😳🤑 and the library was just around the corner (and they do herbal & flower coffee flavors at the cafe, so I m safe from spending there!)
Yes, to diamond painting! I do it from time to time and it's very relaxing. I got my first one from a Michaels, that Diamond Dotz brand. I love when Dr. Dray gets all excited in the craft area of stores. I empathize with that feeling of getting completely distracted from my original purpose.
I used to love when you would be shopping with your mom, and she would remind you of all the projects and crafts you bought but didn't finish or even start 😂👏. My mom did the same, very humbling for me but my mom wasn't wrong.
I remember Chia Pets being sold on TV commercials, so they definitely WEREN'T A DOLLAR

Good old klinex bleach, i use it everyday. It really does the job and the blue gel one for whitening it works like a miracle 😊❤. About diy i experienced the dolphin dots one but it was a goldfish and a heart my niece gave it to me and said make it for me so i did 😊 there are pretty fun and calming. One other thing is the whiff from you and the face (damn that's one nasty smell 😂). Creating a kit for summer is a must so that you can be prepared for anything (better be prepared than not 😅). Another wonderful vlog coming to an end but i had so much fun take care ❤.

So with you on the "Stem" kits. They are mostly for entertainment: watch a showy chemical reaction etc. Some of the kits are helpful for kids to learn how to follow directions and procedures. Crafts can be VERY helpful for children to build their fine motor skills. I am a big fan of science and crates. However, I am a science teacher (and a biologist), so many kids come into their first dedicated science class thinking it will be all about slime, explosions, and showy chemical reactions and liquid nitrogen entertainment.
We call vaccumes hoovers here in the UK :D

I could stand around a store forever smelling every candle lol. It's particularly bad when I'm at Target. I literally want a friend to hang out with who wants to huff every candle with me like it's a new drug addiction hahaha.

Time for embarrassing confessions. I had a pink terrycloth tracksuit (sans any writing on bum) from Juicy Couture a la Paris Hilton! And I wore it proudly. Yes, that is how old I am. I would never imagine that they would make craft kits!😂
More embarrassing: I wanted a velour tracksuit in the 00s so bad, but never could find an affordable one (I did somehow collect over 20 cardigans in that period tho, so...priorities lol)...I'll probably end up buying one in the thrift store now that the trend is completely over 😂

19:32 Omg yes they can lol. I had one for A YEAR on my foot and I literally couldn’t even walk some days because it hurt so bad. Some days the pain would be so awful that I would literally feel the wart pulsing lol. I tried everything to get rid of it, nothing worked. The one thing that did work was going to the dermatologist and having her freeze it off 🙄. Long story short, sometimes letting the professionals take care of these things should be your first choice. Would of saved a lot of time and money to be very honest.

I'm pretty sure my heart would have broken if you hadn't bought something from that craft store! lol! For me, it's the stuff that makes life worth living. Speaking of petroleum jelly, it can work as an art medium for your colored pencils. Perhaps dedicate a small jar, so it isn't mixed with what you use on your body or use the last of a jar you're about to throw out. You can find videos online of people simply dipping the tip of their colored pencils into the petrolatum then drawing or writing with them as usual. Even with the cheapest colored pencils, it's making a darker, more saturated mark with a more viscous feel to it. It might be fun to even try on some scrap paper to see if you like the effect. Play is time wisely spent. Looking forward to seeing your bracelet work! :)

Is it ok to use Vaseline petroleum jelly with cocoa butter instead of the original? It's lightly fragranced and I don't get reactions out of it.

Is Aloe Vera any good on the skin? Someone told me to use it as a makeup primer. I use Vasolene on cuts and scraps for everything. I'm not sure if this will work for everyone, but our area has become infested with Noseeems nasty little bugs. Their bites are horrible. I tried everything for relief and prevention. THEN I finally tried Vasolene and it worked as a prevention AND it helped on the existing bites too. I'm not sure why though. Now that summer is here so are the bugs. Please comment or do a video on but bites and the Noseeems (sp?). Thank you!
