MOROCCAN SUNSET SOAP 🌇 First Try at Neem Oil Soap - Got Some Surprises! | CP Bar Soap | Soap Embeds

Join me on this "soapy adventure" to discover new properties of neem oil and how it behaves in cold process soap! I learned a lot from this experiment and this was definitely one of my more challenging soaps but I came through conquering this fiend. Recipe below!

The recipe I used: Enter into soapcalc.net for your size mold.
1.8:1 distilled water:lye ratio, 5% superfat
30% olive oil
33% coconut oil
10% shea butter
10% cocoa butter
12% neem oil
5% castor oil
1 tsp sodium lactate / lb of oils (optional) mixed in with lye solution to help harden bars
1 tsp goat milk pwdr / lb of oils
Layers: botanicals mixed w/ avocado oil (I said olive but actually used avocado)
charcoal (black)
plain soap batter (yellow)
turmeric (orange)
madder root & rose kaolin clay (red)
indigo (bluish gray)
Fragrance: Morocco by Nature's Oil
