  • Upgrading customer's pair of sunglasses with Essilor Transitions XTRActive Grey Flash Blue Mirror Crizal Sun UV RX lenses!
    UV Protection!
    Clarity!
    Easy to use!
    Ιmpressive appearance!
Outdoors Essilor Transitions XTRActive Grey Flash Blue Mirror lenses are dark with sensational bright blue mirror finish.
Exactly like fixed color mirrored sunlenses!
But in shady places with glare as well as on cloudy days, dark tinted sunlenses are not very
convinient because they reduce brightness excessively.
In such cases Essilor Transitions XTRActive Grey Flash Blue Mirror lenses partly decolorize offering ideal shading and optimum contrast for clear, restful and comfortable vision!
    And...during late afternoons?
    Or after sunsets?
"Must" I have my vision glasses on me out of necessity?
No! The Essilor Transitions XTRActive Grey Flash Blue Mirror lenses discolor by 95% and blue mirror finish almost "disappears"!
They keep a 5% pale-yellow color which, combined with the internal antireflective coatings Crizal Sun UV, makes them extremely relaxing for the eyes and an excellent choice for night driving and also P.C. use.
*They are also available in silver and gold mirror finish.

This is so beautiful. How do you compare the Transitions Photochromic Blue with the Zeiss Photofusion Blue?

We haven't tried Zeiss Photofusion yet due to our present partnership with Essilor/Transitions plus the difference in price.
It's an interesting question though. As soon as we try them we'll post our opinion.
What i can say from now is that according to their specifications Zeiss Photofusion is closer to Transitions XTRActive (keep a little tint at night and indoors, get very fast dark etc) and not Transitions Signature VII.
Tr. XTRActive is available in Grey, Brown and Green (not in Blue). They are also available in Style Mirrors - like the one in this video --> Xtractive Grey with Flash Blue Mirror Coat above.
On the other hand Tr. Signature VII is available in Grey, Brown, Green, Emerald Green, Sapphire Blue, Amethyst and Amper.
The small amount of tint that XTRActive and Photofushion (according to the their specifications) keep at night is something that a lot of people find relaxing for their eyes and prefer, but someother don't like the apearence (remind them older types of photochromic lenses...).
Those that want completly clear lenses an night should choose Signature VII.
      Hope we helped!
p.s. this video was made 1+ year ago. At that time Transitions hadn't yet "named" the XTRActive Flash Mirror Lenses with the present name "Style Mirrors".

@@optikamaggel I found out that Zeiss Photofusion blue is a layer of photochromic molecules etched on the inner layer (facing the eye) of the lens. Whereas the Transitions blue is actually baked into the lens!

I guess that there will be an Essilor/Transitions dealer in Dubai from Essilor Middle East.
If not, i think that we will find a way to serve you.
