Yeah we not changing or saving the world. A reason for buying an electric scooter for me mostly is the best takeoff speed and the sheer silence compared to regular scooters, not saving a world by buying something which is powered by coal/gas power plants, and is built by using the same energy produced by bad sources.

@@chickenmostwanted well, for starters, manufacturing lithium ion batteries is extremely polluting. Then comes the matter of charging the scooter, if the electricity that you get is from coal power plants, then there is no such thing as "zero pollution". So what he means by this is that if you want to save money, buy an electric scooter. If you really care for the environment, bicycling is the way.
