For the 500th year of Christianity in the Philippines, we at Palafox Associates and Palafox Architecture Group are honored and privileged to be appointed as the architects, planners, and engineers for the Divine Mercy Shrine to be built in Consolacion, Cebu. I am also grateful to be named as the chief architect and planner of this project by the Archdiocese of Cebu led by the Archbishop of Cebu Jose S. Palma, DD; Midyphil Billones, Auxiliary Bishop of Cebu; Rev. Msgr. Rommel Kintanar, Divine Mercy Shrine Chaplain; Rev. Fr. Lucas Inoc, Divine Mercy Spiritual Director; and the Divine Mercy devotees.
