I think this masterplan only serves as a guide sa urban development ng Davao, it doesn't mean na it should be followed inch by inch. Come to think of it, some of the suggested dito sa masterplan are actually being incorporated now sa development ng Davao. The coastal promenade and transport corridor, though the exact design/rendering shown sa vid hasn't been followed, but its "idea" has been incorporated sa current coastal road project. Now, there are a couple of promenades and parks along the coastal road. In fact, the local government is planning to reclaim those areas enclosed by the coastal road to develop it into open spaces. The Roxas Skygarden is now the upcoming and under-construction Roxas open-canal garden and linear park and the Freedom Park with canopies. Marina, cruise, and ferry port - part sa plan yung mga gardens sa baba ng flyover/bridge/viaduct jan sa Sta Ana but we're yet to see if idevelop din ang Sta Ana Wharf once matapos na yung bridge/flyover. For the Chinatown, well, we are yet to see any improvements or planned development. For the intermodal stations, this is plan of the HPBS but we are yet to see how the transport terminals would look like. Davao Gulf Bridge is now the up-and-coming SIDC.
