Thank you for sharing. I enjoyed your video very much. The bag is awesome and what a great price! I love finding pricey things for bargain prices. You are such a happy lady, the “J” could stand for Joy.
What a great haul! And that travel case - what a find! I would really like a tutorial with the van Gough paints AND colored pencil (watercolor) on the black paper. Thanks! And if you ever get tired of that travel case....!
Thanks @65sunnyday! I'll definitely do a swatching/review video of the paints on the black paper and I could do a separate video tutorial as well where I paint something. I'll put it on my list! :) And LOL about your travel case comment!
I wish there were Blick shops in Australia. Have you seen Denise Soden of in liquid colour has just done a sketchbook review and test of 6 different watercolour sketchbooks. I think she included the Pentalec one too.
Love watching your haul. It was timely in that I finally made it to the Tampa Blick. It was three weeks from my second vaccine. I stayed a few nights in Tampa. One of the days, I sketched at the zoo. The other day, I went to Blick, REI, and a local garden. At Blick, I got quite a few Daniel Smith watercolor tunes and some brushes. I wanted to get the Black Velvet Silver but that's one brand they didn't carry at that store. I also really like that brand. Thank you.
Hi @R H! Thanks for the comment. I was pregnant and now have a baby so I had to take a hiatus from TH-cam for a while. :) FYI...I tried the oil sticks and they did not play well with watercolor. The oil paint got on the brushes and ruined my painting. Will not be using them again.
stonehenge is awesome paper , i have several blocks and maybe 16 whole sheets

Hi Ella. Have you given up on YT? Would love to see an update on what you did with the oil sticks and if it worked well for you.
