This anime had a hand in inspiring Jujutsu Kaisen, Demon Slayer and Black Clover as stated by their authors, so it’s recently become one of the most influential anime for NewGens and if you loved any of thsoe that you’ve seen then you’ll fall in love with this series and it’s complex multilayered and supernatural elements.
Bleach also inspired a lot of artists and animators like when the trailer dropped on Twitter a lot of people said they got into art because of Bleach. Also there’s a Japanese seiyuu who said she got into voice acting because of Bleach.
Now Bleach is coming back for its 'final arc' after it went into hibernation, it came back after all the shounens inspired by it finally aired so many years later. Almost seems too perfect. Hopefully the anime does the mangaka justice because the manga towards the end got rushed a bit.

Bleach is really good to watch, just remember, if you do, to get a Filler list, as 45% of the show are fillers (episodes added so they manga would get ahead and they'd have more source material to adapt), but that actually make the show really cool to binge if you skip the fillers, because the actual episodes always have a really steady quality even though it came out weekly It's also a really good time to get interrested in it, as the show starts again in October
I agree with you. The constant jumps between main story arcs and filler seasons is what made me give this show up... I found it insanely obnoxious. I'm glad series don't do this anymore and that if an arc is completed, or not yet finished in the manga, they just don't make anything else until it's ready, and even though that may mean we have to wait a year or better to get new content, I'd rather do that than be burdened by idiotic filler garbage. Not sure if that's a hot take or not and I don't mean to offend anyone, just giving my personal opinion.
Ranbu no Melody (OP 13) been my favorite for a minute now, but I love Velonica (OP 9), Asterisk (OP 1) and Harukaze (OP 15) a ton too. Bleach has some really great ops
Definately op 13 Ranbu no Melody I literally started Bleach because of this opening. The music was so cool and the visuals were amazing and intriguing! It will always be special for me. Op 1 sounds so nostalgic and it's just such a vibe. Overall, the music in Bleach is phenomenal
I always tell to everyone that Bleach is a musical masterpiece. This anime made me care about music much more than before because I realized how much music plays a significant part in making me love a show, a videogame, or anything else. My favorites are 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, and 15, but my favorite favorite is still 1.
Yes!! Honestly everything about Op1, music and imagery, solidified it as being one of the best anime openings (and initial introduction to the world) of all time imo. They really struck gold choosing this song to get the ball rolling
It really hits different and imagine watching the final episode with that opening for the last time before going through the last arc they doing this year, it will make you emotional cause you’re heavily invested in the characters of the series.
In some interviews, both the authors of Demon slayer and Jujutsu kaisen said that they were greatly influenced by BLEACH. This show has really great character designs and story telling. It definitely deserves to watch!

I haven't seen too many people mention this, but you have to listen to the OST. It's not only one of the best in anime PERIOD, but also one of the most diverse. Trust me you'll be surprised how different the songs are, but fit perfectly in the show.
Number One by itself is like the most hype hype song of all time, and there are plenty more awesome tacks along with that. Probably the best fight songs in all of the big 3.
It's hard to explain to people that this was our childhood. Through good or bad, through sadness and joy, we all watched this. I still remember the day I decided to watch Bleach. For some these are just openings, for us this is a walk through the nostalgia lane.
I will never forget being a kid and catching a Bleach episode on Adult Swim, it was the Hueco Mundo arc, that Grimmjow fight made me watch episode 1 the next day!
Hell, even a couple of the fillers were a good time in retrospect. A step down from the main story, sure, but still good - especially compared to other shows' fillers in that era.
@@ClumsyKlumz I didn't skip any fillers. I found them interesting for the most part. I know people hated the bounty arc but I didn't find it as bad as people said it was. Same with the Fullbringer arc... I had to rewatch the full bringer arc to really understand the meaning behind everything

The trailer released a few months ago is excellent. Nick, please watch that too. I had not watched Bleach but happened to see it and started reading the manga Bleach. For the sequel this October! Nick should start watching the anime too! The long action scenes are full of character emotion and never boring.

Personally I think u should not read the TYBW arc which is the one that’s gonna get animated so that u can be most hyped for it. And hopefully the anime will do it better than the manga
Oh yeah, Bleach has one of the most legendary OSTs in Shonen anime, which few have yet to match. The OPs, the EDs, and the soundtrack that plays in the episodes proper are just sooooo good, they add so much to the experience. There are plenty of anime that I would say are objectively leagues better in overall quality than Bleach, but Bleachs SOUND still blows most of then out of the water...!! One of my all time faves! ❤️
Opening 5 was Rolling Star by Yui, the artist famous for the Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood OP "Again." This was actually one of her early songs in her career, which is why you felt she could have gone so much farther with the song, she was still in her early days. She also did the 5th Ending Song for Bleach called "Life."
This is literally my favorite anime of all time (say what you will, I just really enjoy it), so when I saw the notification for this video I got so happy!! I love the openings as well (especially the first one) and just the soundtrack in general, don't even get me started on the Espada theme! I will literally die happy if you plan on reacting to Bleach, it would be a dream come true!!!
I love this show, it has a great 2000's vibe, you fall in love with the main character ichigo, the story is peak, it has some good fights, the character designs are pretty cool, especially ichigos, he always stays drippin, and they also have a few moments that could get you to burst out in laughter. Admittedly the downside to this show for me was the fact that some of the fights or even most as I recall are extremely dragged out and at times the show can be a little cheesy. Nonetheless this show was amazing, once I finished it I was filled with a deep depression, I hadn't realized just how attached I had become until it was over.
Bleach is well known for its god tier music and character drips. The openings are on another level altogether! My personal favs are OP 1,2,6,12,13 and 15 with OP 13 AND 15 being the most nostalgic.
The last arc from the manga was never animated till 10+ years later and now starting October we are finally getting it with updated quality and I'm all here for it. Also the OST for bleach is one of my favorites for an anime

it's always 2 opening that i feel the same after all of those years. op 13 is a masterpiece for the final battle. contains every emothion it had. when i was a kid 3 was mu fav but only n2 feelings didn't change.

Ranbu no Melody (around 18:00) is typically regarded as the best Bleach opening for most, I've definitely heard others loving a few others more, but Opening 13 (RnM) is always either number 1 or in someone's top 3. To this day it's still being covered by people on youtube, and the full version is also insane. There are only 2 openings I personally didn't like that much, the one with all the girls in the opening and the rap one (I like it a bit more now than 7 years ago though). If you actually intend to react to Bleach keep in mind it's over 365 episodes. It's returning because it originally caught up with the manga and they didn't wanna ruin it like they did several others (there's a ton of anime where the studio just make up an ending because "it's popular right now the fans won't wait"). There's likely to be another 50+ episodes airing weekly later this year/next year. So if you want to be up to date when it returns... That's A LOT to watch and edit through lol.
It's hard to rank it as sole #1 but it's tied in that position to me, it's not just the song but the part in the arc always helps, a few amazing shots and then the magic of the tear between Rangiku and Gin. Just a BTW in some openings, Velonica was one of my favorites between it came out and Change/Ranbu no Melody. Shoujo S was fun but it was elevated a bit more when SCANDAL came back for the last opening. Also I remember disliking Alones but it grew with time, like after it aired time. And a shame that he didn't love YUI.
Man this show... brings back some of my fondest memories. The first two arcs, especially the second arc, are some of my favorite in any anime. Not to mention the soundtrack is SUPER unique. Definitely give this a watch Nick! (maybe skip the fillers for later though lol)
Glad you said skip them for LATER as they're still very good. That's what made me prefer Bleach over Naruto the fillers were like filler arcs with actual stories that were cool concepts but Naruto fillers were just.. eh...
BLEACH was a step above in manga expression at the time. The aesthetics of the author were shared in the animation, creating an animation that would be accepted far into the future. Today, many manga artists and animators are influenced by BLEACH.
The first opening i ever heard was number 7, after dark so it will always hold a special place in my heart and be my absolute favourite! The OST of Bleach is also immaculate btw.

kubo was not well at the time and they were forcing him to put chapters out basically. kubo has said that the thousand year blood war arc will have new content and will be changed so I'm assuming they are making the ending more thought out it. also tybw is not the worst arc at all its insanely good with a mid ending. but if the ending is fixed its all good
good thing kubo stated that given they have the time and hes overseeing it, hes adding many of the missing parts to the anime so it doesnt feel "rushed" including missing fight scenes and extending them
Actually kubo was the one who rushed it, he read a letter from a teenager with cancer who said that Bleach was what he enjoyed to read in his hard times and Kubo rushed the ending so the fan could read the enidng, but i've heard that the kid died before it endend, Rest in peace. Pd: The anime will fix the rushed ending, they gonna add more things that didn't appear in the manga

Opening 2 will always be my favorite bleach op. Love a lot of it’s visuals and the song just grabs you in the first few seconds and holds on till the end where you’re demanding more! BLEACH GREATNESS!
A little warning. WHEN you go to see Bleach, keep in mind that the anime caught up with the (original) manga pretty quickly and put extra stories instead of waiting. So there's a lot of episodes just with stuff that the animation team produced, not really author stuff. There are lists on the internet where these extra episodes are identified for those who want to skip them. You cut at least a third of the work, watching becomes more dynamic and improves the experience for many.
what I love about OP 15 asides from the amazing music, is Ichigo's walking as the chapter cards of each Fullbringer episode appear behind him, God that's actually an amazing scene.
Ranbu no Melody will always be one of my favorite anime opening songs ever. Mainly because when I first started getting into Anime (DBZ, Pokémon & Yugioh excluded), I started to watch Bleach on Toonami. & they had this intro playing. & when I heard this song, I knew this was an anime that I was gonna enjoy!
Same here! Hearing Ranbu no Melody as a kid on Toonami (and the first Soul Eater opening) singlehandedly got me into anime and Japanese music as a whole. Such timeless bangers 🔥🔥
Honestly I think it's an absolutely underrated take, but Bleach visual aesthetics in it's intro's also absolutely blow most other anime out of the water. The constant music album themes, oldschool movie filters, super dark shading, character outfits (which Bleach style is just another aspect other series aside from Jojo can't match). They just have so much individual flare that makes me want to watch the videos outright instead of just listening to the songs alone because they fit so well together! Most other intro's look just like the show they're apart of, but every bleach intro has had it's own visual aesthetic from the start!

Bleach has amazing OSTs (one of the best in all of anime), god tier character designs, great fights, amazing main character. If you skip fillers you should be fine in watching it although I’ll warn that the pacing is a bit slow and can get boring at times but trust the concept for this show is unique and there is one phrase that will always get you hype but I won’t spoil
I recently finished watching the anime, one of the classics I missed out on back in the day and I hate that I did. But at the same time now I was able to skip the filler arcs and just watch the main story. It was a great experience. You DEFINITELY need to watch it Nicholas!
Probably Asian Kung-fu Generation After dark is one of my faves. If you liked Yui's voice in Rolling star (op#5) you should check out her song Again (first op to Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood) it's one of the best op songs in anime EVER!

This really nostalgic, I was in the first year of middle school when I notice this anime and it was the third Opening that caught my attention and made me decide to watch it. I remember watching this along with Shakugan no Shana, Hayate the Combat Butler, and other animes that has long episodes that I forgot the title in that year.
I hope the openings when it comes back keep the same emotional rock n roll vibe. It's a reason why I love bleach openings so much. After Dark, Tonight Tonight Tonight, Ranbu no Melody, Velonica and more all feel like they're trying to make you feel a lot of emotions.
Yeah. Sadly my favorites of the bunch are opening 6, 9 and ending 30 - all made by Aqua Timez, which got disbanded few years ago. I really wish they ask them to come back for just one song for Bleach TYBW or a cameo TBH.

my fav one is definitely 2 ! because the opening is so perfect for a perfect arc with peak story telling , plot twists, fights . the lyrics are so heart touching that we can feel Ichigo's heart aching and longing to save rukia.
Change is one of my favourite openings of all time. It just gives this hard vibe of "whatever u try, u can do it" and its a pretty emotianal one together with Ranbu no Melodie. Mostly because the Story got to an final there and all the Plotholes being filled. This anime was great and i recomend everyone that never watched it to do it. NOW. Awesome soundtrack, great Plot, loveable Characters and the Best Antagonist in Anime ever. And not to mention the greatest doubleagent in history. Yeah Snape, sorry but ur only second for me. Gin will always be Number 1
I'm glad you make it to bleach openings and you like it. I was waiting to see your reaction. Bleach was one of my first anime watched "knowingly" (3rd to be exact) and it's one of the most memorable for me so it's kinda cool to see your reaction to the best openings in "big 3" (in my opinion ofc)
I'm obsessed with Bleach (my icon is a character from the series too, lol) It's a very long series though, and old, so forget about getting the graphics and animations you've been spoiled with lately, but the humor is great and I love the huge diversity of characters, many of wich are very interesting and/or funny, and the story is very creative. I would suggest you watch a shorter series though, like One Punch man or MOB Psycho 100, both are very good an pretty crazy, season 3 of MOB is out soon too. Full metal alchemist is a nother good series.
For me Op 3 "Ichirin No Hana" will always be my fave. My second fave, Op 8 "Chu-Bura" was way more than that filler arc deserved IMO. As for third, that's a hard one... a toss up between Op 6 "Alones", Op 12 "ChAngE", Op 13 "Ranbu No Melody" and Op 15 "Harukaze". On a related note, I would love to see his Reaction to "Number One"! It's the best anime insert song of all time in my book~
Bleach is easily my favorite "big shonen" anime, but the first 15 episodes don't really reflect it's greatness. If you manage to watch until Ep. 16, you cannot stop!
Idk how I missed this one. But fun fact, even among anime creators bleach is praised for its choice of music and the use of "drip" or style for characters. Also Tite Kubo uses a heavy black ink outlining in comparison to most other shonen. Hope to see you add it to the rotation of reactions.

5:37 It's actually a "he" that does the screaming ("die, let it die, there's no other")... and you didn't catch a black hole ripping open in the sky and dozens of demon arms stretching out of it and the black butterlfy fluttering by. The screaming actually fits quite well. Bleach is still in my top 5 ... back then nr. the ecstatic's and intro's songs were amazing as was the art work of the anime itself. Bleach was quite a game changer back then.

The first anime that actually turned me full weeb. When I was in 4th grade, I watched a rerun of Inuyasha every day on AXN after school. When it ended, I was excited for the next anime they were going to show, and this was it. They always aired 2 episodes back-to-back, and I was hooked. Seriously, this show had me talking weeb for years... some posts still pop up on my Facebook, and boy is it embarrassing, but those were fun times. No stress, no responsibilities, and your only problem is how to run home from school fast enough to watch the 5pm reruns~
First anime I watched was Bleach, and I fell in love. It was so different than cartoons I was watching at that time. It made me venture in this great journey of anime. After that Bleach was the first manga I read, another great journey xD It's not a perfect show, but it impacted my life so much that I will be forever grateful
Bleach is my favorite work. Since the anime was broadcast every week for 8 years, the drawing of the anime is not as good as the popular anime now, but it is recommended. Also, if you broadcast every week, the story will catch up with the original manga, so sometimes an episode of the original animation will come in, but it is a little boring, so it is better to understand it before watching or skip it. .. If I were to pick 3 favorites out all 15. It’d be 1, 3 and 14. But if I were to be honest. The actual songs IN the episodes themselves is what I love. And I think my most favorite one was made into the opening for the last season that’ll air in October.

I'd say my favorite opening is Change by miwa. Like, I know its not the most original choice, but it was the first OP that I experienced as 'new'. At the time I started watching Bleach more often, the anime was moving from the Zanpakuto Rebellion filler back to canon, so the first time I got to experience a new OP I hadn't been spoiled by browsing youtube was Change. The visuals were awesome and I watched it over and over again just to relive the hype over the years.
Ranbu no Melody was by far the best opening of them all ! Especially when you know the stakes of that arc. Anywho, you definitely need to watch Bleach ! Just be careful, there are a lot of fillers, and they aren't that good... You should check which episodes to watch cause trust me : "canon arcs" are waaaay better than "filler arcs"

This anime had a hand in inspiring Jujutsu Kaisen, Demon Slayer and Black Clover as stated by their authors, so it’s recently become one of the most influential anime for NewGens and if you loved any of thsoe that you’ve seen then you’ll fall in love with this series and it’s complex multilayered and supernatural elements.
Bleach also inspired a lot of artists and animators like when the trailer dropped on Twitter a lot of people said they got into art because of Bleach. Also there’s a Japanese seiyuu who said she got into voice acting because of Bleach.

Now Bleach is coming back for its 'final arc' after it went into hibernation, it came back after all the shounens inspired by it finally aired so many years later. Almost seems too perfect. Hopefully the anime does the mangaka justice because the manga towards the end got rushed a bit.

Bleach is really good to watch, just remember, if you do, to get a Filler list, as 45% of the show are fillers (episodes added so they manga would get ahead and they'd have more source material to adapt), but that actually make the show really cool to binge if you skip the fillers, because the actual episodes always have a really steady quality even though it came out weekly
It's also a really good time to get interrested in it, as the show starts again in October

I agree with you. The constant jumps between main story arcs and filler seasons is what made me give this show up... I found it insanely obnoxious. I'm glad series don't do this anymore and that if an arc is completed, or not yet finished in the manga, they just don't make anything else until it's ready, and even though that may mean we have to wait a year or better to get new content, I'd rather do that than be burdened by idiotic filler garbage. Not sure if that's a hot take or not and I don't mean to offend anyone, just giving my personal opinion.
Ranbu no Melody (OP 13) been my favorite for a minute now, but I love Velonica (OP 9), Asterisk (OP 1) and Harukaze (OP 15) a ton too. Bleach has some really great ops

I always tell to everyone that Bleach is a musical masterpiece. This anime made me care about music much more than before because I realized how much music plays a significant part in making me love a show, a videogame, or anything else. My favorites are 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, and 15, but my favorite favorite is still 1.

The final op to Bleach always hits that feels spot man, watching Ichigo walk forward through the episode numbers always gets me.

I haven't seen too many people mention this, but you have to listen to the OST. It's not only one of the best in anime PERIOD, but also one of the most diverse. Trust me you'll be surprised how different the songs are, but fit perfectly in the show.

Its been a while but the fights in bleach used to hit different.
Hell, even a couple of the fillers were a good time in retrospect. A step down from the main story, sure, but still good - especially compared to other shows' fillers in that era.

The trailer released a few months ago is excellent. Nick, please watch that too. I had not watched Bleach but happened to see it and started reading the manga Bleach. For the sequel this October! Nick should start watching the anime too! The long action scenes are full of character emotion and never boring.

Oh yeah, Bleach has one of the most legendary OSTs in Shonen anime, which few have yet to match. The OPs, the EDs, and the soundtrack that plays in the episodes proper are just sooooo good, they add so much to the experience. There are plenty of anime that I would say are objectively leagues better in overall quality than Bleach, but Bleachs SOUND still blows most of then out of the water...!!

Opening 5 was Rolling Star by Yui, the artist famous for the Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood OP "Again." This was actually one of her early songs in her career, which is why you felt she could have gone so much farther with the song, she was still in her early days. She also did the 5th Ending Song for Bleach called "Life."

I love this show, it has a great 2000's vibe, you fall in love with the main character ichigo, the story is peak, it has some good fights, the character designs are pretty cool, especially ichigos, he always stays drippin, and they also have a few moments that could get you to burst out in laughter. Admittedly the downside to this show for me was the fact that some of the fights or even most as I recall are extremely dragged out and at times the show can be a little cheesy. Nonetheless this show was amazing, once I finished it I was filled with a deep depression, I hadn't realized just how attached I had become until it was over.

Bleach is well known for its god tier music and character drips. The openings are on another level altogether! My personal favs are OP 1,2,6,12,13 and 15 with OP 13 AND 15 being the most nostalgic.
The last arc from the manga was never animated till 10+ years later and now starting October we are finally getting it with updated quality and I'm all here for it. Also the OST for bleach is one of my favorites for an anime

They have a lot of great songs, BNHA's opening for season 3 Is my favorite and they also play Blood + Opening 3 and it's a really good song, I even have it on my Gym playlist

If you *REALLY* loved the openings for Bleach, then try reacting to the theme song for Bleach's protagonist, Ichigo! The song is "Number One", sung by Hazel Fernandes! ^^
Ranbu no Melody (around 18:00) is typically regarded as the best Bleach opening for most, I've definitely heard others loving a few others more, but Opening 13 (RnM) is always either number 1 or in someone's top 3.
To this day it's still being covered by people on youtube, and the full version is also insane.
There are only 2 openings I personally didn't like that much, the one with all the girls in the opening and the rap one (I like it a bit more now than 7 years ago though).
If you actually intend to react to Bleach keep in mind it's over 365 episodes. It's returning because it originally caught up with the manga and they didn't wanna ruin it like they did several others (there's a ton of anime where the studio just make up an ending because "it's popular right now the fans won't wait"). There's likely to be another 50+ episodes airing weekly later this year/next year.
So if you want to be up to date when it returns... That's A LOT to watch and edit through lol.
If you skip the filler it is just around 200 episodes

It's hard to rank it as sole #1 but it's tied in that position to me, it's not just the song but the part in the arc always helps, a few amazing shots and then the magic of the tear between Rangiku and Gin.
Just a BTW in some openings, Velonica was one of my favorites between it came out and Change/Ranbu no Melody. Shoujo S was fun but it was elevated a bit more when SCANDAL came back for the last opening. Also I remember disliking Alones but it grew with time, like after it aired time. And a shame that he didn't love YUI.

Man this show... brings back some of my fondest memories. The first two arcs, especially the second arc, are some of my favorite in any anime. Not to mention the soundtrack is SUPER unique. Definitely give this a watch Nick! (maybe skip the fillers for later though lol)

BLEACH was a step above in manga expression at the time. The aesthetics of the author were shared in the animation, creating an animation that would be accepted far into the future. Today, many manga artists and animators are influenced by BLEACH.
The first opening i ever heard was number 7, after dark so it will always hold a special place in my heart and be my absolute favourite! The OST of Bleach is also immaculate btw.

PS:the continuation of Bleach actually it's the adaptation of the final arc Who was never animated before. It was Also the worst part of the manga because the story was rushed (editors fault here).

kubo was not well at the time and they were forcing him to put chapters out basically. kubo has said that the thousand year blood war arc will have new content and will be changed so I'm assuming they are making the ending more thought out it. also tybw is not the worst arc at all its insanely good with a mid ending. but if the ending is fixed its all good

good thing kubo stated that given they have the time and hes overseeing it, hes adding many of the missing parts to the anime so it doesnt feel "rushed" including missing fight scenes and extending them

Actually kubo was the one who rushed it, he read a letter from a teenager with cancer who said that Bleach was what he enjoyed to read in his hard times and Kubo rushed the ending so the fan could read the enidng, but i've heard that the kid died before it endend, Rest in peace.
Pd: The anime will fix the rushed ending, they gonna add more things that didn't appear in the manga

A little warning. WHEN you go to see Bleach, keep in mind that the anime caught up with the (original) manga pretty quickly and put extra stories instead of waiting. So there's a lot of episodes just with stuff that the animation team produced, not really author stuff. There are lists on the internet where these extra episodes are identified for those who want to skip them. You cut at least a third of the work, watching becomes more dynamic and improves the experience for many.
It's better to skip those as they aren't exactly good or cannon and makes the story feel off.

Mainly because when I first started getting into Anime (DBZ, Pokémon & Yugioh excluded), I started to watch Bleach on Toonami. & they had this intro playing. & when I heard this song, I knew this was an anime that I was gonna enjoy!

Honestly I think it's an absolutely underrated take, but Bleach visual aesthetics in it's intro's also absolutely blow most other anime out of the water. The constant music album themes, oldschool movie filters, super dark shading, character outfits (which Bleach style is just another aspect other series aside from Jojo can't match). They just have so much individual flare that makes me want to watch the videos outright instead of just listening to the songs alone because they fit so well together!
Most other intro's look just like the show they're apart of, but every bleach intro has had it's own visual aesthetic from the start!

Bleach has amazing OSTs (one of the best in all of anime), god tier character designs, great fights, amazing main character. If you skip fillers you should be fine in watching it although I’ll warn that the pacing is a bit slow and can get boring at times but trust the concept for this show is unique and there is one phrase that will always get you hype but I won’t spoil

I recently finished watching the anime, one of the classics I missed out on back in the day and I hate that I did. But at the same time now I was able to skip the filler arcs and just watch the main story. It was a great experience. You DEFINITELY need to watch it Nicholas!
Probably Asian Kung-fu Generation After dark is one of my faves. If you liked Yui's voice in Rolling star (op#5) you should check out her song Again (first op to Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood) it's one of the best op songs in anime EVER!

This really nostalgic, I was in the first year of middle school when I notice this anime and it was the third Opening that caught my attention and made me decide to watch it. I remember watching this along with Shakugan no Shana, Hayate the Combat Butler, and other animes that has long episodes that I forgot the title in that year.
I hope the openings when it comes back keep the same emotional rock n roll vibe. It's a reason why I love bleach openings so much. After Dark, Tonight Tonight Tonight, Ranbu no Melody, Velonica and more all feel like they're trying to make you feel a lot of emotions.
Yeah. Sadly my favorites of the bunch are opening 6, 9 and ending 30 - all made by Aqua Timez, which got disbanded few years ago. I really wish they ask them to come back for just one song for Bleach TYBW or a cameo TBH.

my fav one is definitely 2 ! because the opening is so perfect for a perfect arc with peak story telling , plot twists, fights . the lyrics are so heart touching that we can feel Ichigo's heart aching and longing to save rukia.
You should do all the Gintama Openings next as well as some of the endings. Ending 5, 17 and 25 in particular are so good they should've been Openings

Change is one of my favourite openings of all time. It just gives this hard vibe of "whatever u try, u can do it" and its a pretty emotianal one together with Ranbu no Melodie. Mostly because the Story got to an final there and all the Plotholes being filled. This anime was great and i recomend everyone that never watched it to do it. NOW. Awesome soundtrack, great Plot, loveable Characters and the Best Antagonist in Anime ever. And not to mention the greatest doubleagent in history. Yeah Snape, sorry but ur only second for me. Gin will always be Number 1

I'm glad you make it to bleach openings and you like it. I was waiting to see your reaction. Bleach was one of my first anime watched "knowingly" (3rd to be exact) and it's one of the most memorable for me so it's kinda cool to see your reaction to the best openings in "big 3" (in my opinion ofc)
I'm obsessed with Bleach (my icon is a character from the series too, lol) It's a very long series though, and old, so forget about getting the graphics and animations you've been spoiled with lately, but the humor is great and I love the huge diversity of characters, many of wich are very interesting and/or funny, and the story is very creative. I would suggest you watch a shorter series though, like One Punch man or MOB Psycho 100, both are very good an pretty crazy, season 3 of MOB is out soon too. Full metal alchemist is a nother good series.

For me Op 3 "Ichirin No Hana" will always be my fave.
My second fave, Op 8 "Chu-Bura" was way more than that filler arc deserved IMO.
As for third, that's a hard one... a toss up between Op 6 "Alones", Op 12 "ChAngE", Op 13 "Ranbu No Melody" and Op 15 "Harukaze".
On a related note, I would love to see his Reaction to "Number One"! It's the best anime insert song of all time in my book~

Bleach is easily my favorite "big shonen" anime, but the first 15 episodes don't really reflect it's greatness. If you manage to watch until Ep. 16, you cannot stop!

Idk how I missed this one. But fun fact, even among anime creators bleach is praised for its choice of music and the use of "drip" or style for characters. Also Tite Kubo uses a heavy black ink outlining in comparison to most other shonen. Hope to see you add it to the rotation of reactions.
I LOOOOVE Bleach OP 5 "Rolling Star" by YUI, I memorized it and sang it at my local anime convention's karaoke contest and everything haha. If you listen to it, she sings super long without taking a breath, it's so hard to replicate.

5:37 It's actually a "he" that does the screaming ("die, let it die, there's no other")... and you didn't catch a black hole ripping open in the sky and dozens of demon arms stretching out of it and the black butterlfy fluttering by. The screaming actually fits quite well. Bleach is still in my top 5 ... back then nr. the ecstatic's and intro's songs were amazing as was the art work of the anime itself. Bleach was quite a game changer back then.

The first anime that actually turned me full weeb. When I was in 4th grade, I watched a rerun of Inuyasha every day on AXN after school. When it ended, I was excited for the next anime they were going to show, and this was it. They always aired 2 episodes back-to-back, and I was hooked. Seriously, this show had me talking weeb for years... some posts still pop up on my Facebook, and boy is it embarrassing, but those were fun times. No stress, no responsibilities, and your only problem is how to run home from school fast enough to watch the 5pm reruns~
First anime I watched was Bleach, and I fell in love. It was so different than cartoons I was watching at that time. It made me venture in this great journey of anime. After that Bleach was the first manga I read, another great journey xD

OH MY GOD... FINALLY 😩 BLEACH IS ALL HEAT!! Also you should react to it but as other people said get a filler list so you can skip them, especially since in bleach fillers appear in the middle of some arcs. ALSO please react to the Bleach endings. They are just as good as the openings (in my opinion)

Like, I know its not the most original choice, but it was the first OP that I experienced as 'new'. At the time I started watching Bleach more often, the anime was moving from the Zanpakuto Rebellion filler back to canon, so the first time I got to experience a new OP I hadn't been spoiled by browsing youtube was Change. The visuals were awesome and I watched it over and over again just to relive the hype over the years.
Ranbu no Melody was by far the best opening of them all ! Especially when you know the stakes of that arc.
Anywho, you definitely need to watch Bleach ! Just be careful, there are a lot of fillers, and they aren't that good...
You should check which episodes to watch cause trust me : "canon arcs" are waaaay better than "filler arcs"
