He's been pretty transparent about this.
not only does the last one have a woman singer, this one is also notable for being the first female jojo (a jojo is the main character of each part). it's also takes place in a womans prison with a lot more female characters. which is great since in the part before it there was literally one singular female character in the entirety of the part. araki clearly wanted to get over his problem with writing woman and I really respect that for him. he really improves in his writing of female characters after this, and jolyne (female jojo) is one of my favorite jojo's she's so fun and she really feels like a jojo. she's written not as a female jojo, but as a jojo who happens to be female
I don't think Araki ever really had a problem with writing women, I think every major female character since Lisa Lisa is pretty well written, but at the same time, yeah, I can only think of like, maybe 4 of them before part 6, so it's great that he made a more balanced part, and kept that balance in SBR and Jojolion
FYI, the 'repeat' OPs are the final OPs of their seasons, and always do it for plot reasons. Outside of context, it's weird. With context, it's fucking brilliant.

My name is Yoshikage Kira. I'm 33 years old. My house is in the northeast section of Morioh, where all the villas are, and I am not married. I work as an employee for the Kame Yu department stores, and I get home every day by 8 PM at the latest. I don't smoke, but I occasionally drink. I'm in bed by 11 PM, and make sure I get eight hours of sleep, no matter what. After having a glass of warm milk and doing about twenty minutes of stretches before going to bed, I usually have no problems sleeping until morning. Just like a baby, I wake up without any fatigue or stress in the morning. I was told there were no issues at my last check-up. I'm trying to explain that I'm a person who wishes to live a very quiet life. I take care not to trouble myself with any enemies, like winning and losing, that would cause me to lose sleep at night. That is how I deal with society, and I know that is what brings me happiness. Although, if I were to fight I wouldn't lose to anyone.
So there are people that don't really "get" this show so I won't recommend it to everyone, but seeing your reaction to the openings, you're _exactly_ the kind of person who's going to enjoy every second of it :)
this show is unlike any show you've ever seen or will see. It really embraces the Bizarre in its name and I highly recommend you watch it either on camera or off.
I have a friend who hates JoJo and never told us directly why. I think it’s because he just watched the first episode and he’s like, “this shit is shitty”
can we talk about how much work and effort was put into the Ops. Every opening has creative and fluid animation styles, and how all the hints subtly ease you into the characters and their arcs. Well done
Jojo is a timeless show. I had the privilege of speaking with the Visual Directors who directed the openings in JoJo and let me tell you these guys are beyond creative. The way they easily blend the music with the animation is sensational.
@@ericjoel5363 Ya know, I love how people say cap when something rare happens to the other person. Is it jealousy? Is it not believing that a person could actually do that? Hm, very strange. However there is a 50 percent chance(Probably.) That this is a lie
@@Exinith Well it’s the obvious reaction to hearing of a “rare” case as the internet is notorious for having people claim shit without any credibility. Traitors Requiem, the second to last opening, actually has 2 other versions that weren't included where the end is different. I would recommend reacting to them

So JoJos Bizarre Adventure is a Manga Series that started in 1987 and is still going to this day. Spanning over 8 parts, soon to be 9, aswell as a bunch of questionably canon spin-off mangas, Jojos bizarre adventure is one of the most influential series in japan. And didnt really get popular outside of Japan until 2012 shere studio David Productions started making the faithful Anime adaption, currently on part 6 which is actually going to release in chunks every few months instead of weekly. Each part has its own cast of characters and protagnist but still follows the adventures of a member of the Joestar Family, who, yes, nickname ends up somehow being JoJo. With the community, memeability, and sense of adventure, JoJo is one of my favorite Anime and Manga series ever and i cant wait for more people to get into it
I think the best thing about Jojo is just how much it has inspired other works as well as being inspired by others like music references to stand and character names. For example did you know that Street fighter is heavily inspired by Jojo and several characters are made with Jojo in mind. They also have moves that are inspired from Jojo characters abilities/moves. In an interview the creators of Street fighter said that every time they did a survey for fun. Jojo would always be the #1 manga.
how could i forget, yeah Araki loves western rock culture, so a bunch of the characters and their powers are named after rock songs, albums, artists etc. and in the later parts of the series he references european fashion designers and so on
The big villain is literally named fucking DIO. I think Ronnie James Dio would have thought its badass to have his name be the name of a time stopping immortal vampire
There are ton of other animes which don't follow the usual trends, actually they don't only shounen animes do. Because the genre itself is it! Watch Steins Gate, baccano, odd taxi, psycho pass, tatami galaxy, rankings of the kings, vivy, sonny boy, Monster, Vinland Saga....

One thing to keep in mind about Jojo it's the fact that it start like a mexican novel but way more dramatized and it embraces the fact that is so over the top, that's what it makes unique(also the fact that it was written in the 80's)
“That opening hits harder than the rumbling” Why would you say something so controversial yet so brave?! 🤨 Bro as a JoJo fan, seeing your reaction this is the best reaction to JoJos ops that I’ve seen, I love how hyped you are, makes me proud to be a JoJo fan
I also love how the singers voices are calqued on the main character of each part, reflecting their personality: brave and noble for jonathan; cunning and comic for joseph; agressive and agry for jotaro; joyous for josuke; noble, but in an other way for giorno; and strong for jolyne. Can't wait to see what are they going to do for part 7 !
Hunting for Your Dream is another anime song that is Dragon Force-like. The singer of that band, Galneryus, has one of the most powerful voices I've ever heard, while also having such a wide range.
Honestly if you like the intros I would recommend the outro’s (they’re mostly Araki flexing his Spotify playlist), they’re all such bops. The man has great taste ngl ~ A Jojo enthusiast 👩🦯
I hated the part 4 art style after I got used to the parts 1-3 art styles but as I got through parts 4-6 I started to appreciate Araki's new style until I feel he reached his artistic peak with part 7, without a doubt the most beautiful part of Jojo in my opinion
The singer that does the opening you react to at 17:32 is called CODA, he did the openings for parts 2 and 5 and is involved in a couple of the other ones too. He's also done a couple songs for the series that aren't openings, "Goodbye Nostalgia" and "Crazy My Beat". Would definitely recommend, especially that second one
Yeeees, if someone wants to listen "goodbye nostalgia" i recommed watch the show first and end part 3 (stardust crusaders) the experience is just different and you'll get the lyrics

Apparently he has watched anime before. It’s not his first time. There’s a video talking about the animes he has watched. It sucks cuz I also thought he was a newbie and I got so excited when he started watching AOT but he has already watched the anime and just pretending for views. If you go to the comment section of his latest AOT reaction, you’ll see people linking the proof. It’s truly disappointing.
You NEED to react to "giorno's theme". That is one of the most popular anime music in existence. And after that, if you want more epicness, you can do "pillar men theme."
Something I love about this guy. You can EASILY understand every sensation he's experiencing and every expression on his face. Why? Because we ALL felt it with these openings. Welcome to the family, Nick! Glad to have you. Have some tea. Don't worry, it wasn't prepared by Abbachio this time.
If you really want to watch the JoJo here are some tips to know: 1. DO NOT skip parts 1 and 2. They set the lore and background for the series and also they explain one important technique that's gonna be used throughout those two parts and by one character in part 3. 2. JoJo is mostly a community of memers so take conversations with a grain of salt.
Out of every reaction videos about JoJo ops i've seen yours is definitely the most emotional one. I could literally feel your energy through the screen and it affected me as well. I wish there were more reactions like that. Also I'm glad to hear that you loved Fighting Gold. Not a lot of people love it that much aparrently.
If you want to hear a killer female Japanese voice, listen to the Outro song to Cowboy Bebop. It's called The Real Folk Blues. My favorite outro song in all of anime!
One thing I love about Jojo is that it takes place from 1880-2011 (1-6) and 1890-2020 (7-9) It makes every part feel very different, as you are never in the same time frame as the previous part.
Jojo has some good theme songs for the characters, especially Josuke and Giorno's themes, in my opinion they're top tier! Also the Torture Dance is magnificent in all it's bizzare funkiness.
I think JoJo S1 OP is the best you can disagree but in my eyes it is always the best. Don’t get me wrong they are all amazing but the first one is LIT.
I truly love how you don't care what others think, some people call anime childish when it's art expressed for all ages whether that be for preteens or adults. Glad you enjoyed
Seeing you get so hyped and happy for these songs, makes me so happy and giggly! It took me a while to get into Jojo's personally, but my brother *loves* this show and he gets the whole world better than I do! I love when people genuinely enjoy something and it shows! Thanks Nick, for showing your raw reactions! (And I've been around when you reacted to all the BTS videos before you had your channel restarted!)
I easily got into Jojo since i kinda treated it like that one cartoon show that shows up early on TV everyday so i just act like it's a cartoon network OG and the wacky shit that happens makes me feel like a child again
I like how he doesn't even get to start his sentence after an opening and the other opening already comes in so he has no choice but to vibe with it, Jojo ops really are something else.
I love JoJo's openings and how they get even better when you watch the anime and relate the opening scenes to the events of the episodes. There's also the fact that they have the same vibe but still retaining the originality and character of each part, it's genius
If only the other versions of Traitors Requiem were in the vid, the choir during the Diavolo skip and the riff that plays during the time loop are sick af.
As a person who really likes Bloody Stream, I think that the saxophone break right after the first chorus really sucks. It breaks the momentum of the song. I do like all the other full songs, especially Stand Proud and Great Days.
I'm still gonna keep recommending some OP/ED underdogs since you're getting tons of suggestions for the most popular anime intro/outro's already. Hope you'll get to these one day ^^ Rage of Bahamut: Genesis OP - Existance (same artist as final AoT OP) Death Parade OP - Flyers Kekkai Sensen (Blood Blockade Battlefront) OP - Hello, World Shiki OP1 - Kuchizuke Yowamushi Pedal: Glory Line OP 2 - Dancing Kokkoku OP - Flashback Tentai Senshi Sunred OP1 Umineko no Naku no Koro ni OP - Katayoku no Tori GTO the Animation OP2 - Hitori no Yoru Wotaku ni Koi wa Muzukashii OP (Wotakoi) - Fiction Hunter x Hunter (2011) ED 1 - Just Awake Puella Magi Madoka Magica ED 2 - Magia RDG: Red Data Girl ED - Yokan Final Fantasy: Unlimited ED - Vivid

not only does the last one have a woman singer, this one is also notable for being the first female jojo (a jojo is the main character of each part). it's also takes place in a womans prison with a lot more female characters. which is great since in the part before it there was literally one singular female character in the entirety of the part. araki clearly wanted to get over his problem with writing woman and I really respect that for him. he really improves in his writing of female characters after this, and jolyne (female jojo) is one of my favorite jojo's she's so fun and she really feels like a jojo. she's written not as a female jojo, but as a jojo who happens to be female
Amd then he made Lucy Steel who was just sexually assaulted every 5 chapters 💀

I don't think Araki ever really had a problem with writing women, I think every major female character since Lisa Lisa is pretty well written, but at the same time, yeah, I can only think of like, maybe 4 of them before part 6, so it's great that he made a more balanced part, and kept that balance in SBR and Jojolion

To be honestly I feel like Araki, the creator, understands how off putting this show and his art-styles can be, so I chose to believe he and his team put so much soul into these intros because it will be the first reaction people get to his work
I never understood the dislike of Araki artstyle. I always liked it and it never seemed to be something crazy or off putting compared to other anime/
@@armored_guy me too!! I think it’s like how others see conventional beauty first, they didn’t see the “conventional beauty” of JoJo’s and so they missed out on something great
me when he didnt get to see the alternate traitors requiems
@@armored_guyeah they only know the Part 3 anime style, and they think its the only Jojo's artsyle has to offer. Its kinda sad honestly, i thought the show has about buff men souleslly fighting but when i gave it a shot i loved it and it's many art styles, honestly, it goes to show how much Araki has grown in storytelling, charcter building and art styling.
@@armored_guyit was really off putting for me when i first saw it (the manga cover with johnathan)
Fighting gold is one of my most played songs on spotify. Great workout song
So refreshing to see someone react APPROPRIATELY to JoJo's awesomeness
