  • This is the falling waters at Lake Vyrnwy in Mid-Wales.
    This video was put together in July 2022, this is getting one of the lowest its been since 1976.

    I remember '76 , never seen it this low . one of our favourite places to go when we lived in Mid Wales , for 30 years >😯😯 even a 6 foot drop - multiplied by that huge surface area is ....well......it's an awful lot of water !!

    This is not abnormal for the time of year - for a drier than average summer - this looks about right!!

      Agreed. But this is more about the village that was drowned to supply Liverpool with water in the 1880s becoming more visible

      Oh yes it is. I've cycled round vrynwy many times in the summer and never seen it this low.

      @@tornadoe13 Well all I can say is my fam lives about 10 miles away and I’ve over 60 years of experience of the lake! However, your view is your reality and that of course is fine!!

    Could do without that repetitive racket in the background/foreground, very distracting.
