- Hello friends, in this video I would like to explain you about my experience which I had faced in trip in SAM DUNES jaisalmer. I want to alert you all and want to share my experience with you all so that when you guys gonna visit this sam dunes you do not get trap on this scams of sam dunes jaisalmer.

Same happened with us.
Most of them are scammer. Jeep safari , camel Safari pehle se hi package me including tha lekin fir bhi paise mang rahe the. Or last me jab camp side se return City me aate time deep driver bolta h ki , meri tip 2k nahi di aapne Jeep safari ki.
Yes bro, waha kaafi saare log scam kar rahe hain. bahot afsoos ki baat hai ki yeh log openly scam karre hain. isliye maine yeh video banaya so that log thoda alert ho jaaye and prepared rahe iss situation ke liye
Rajputana camp is genuine, we visited in 2019.reasonable prices ,professionalism, good hospitality

Mere saath bhi Jaisalmer mein hua hai. Hotel gaya aur wahan unhone package diya jo maine le liya convenience ke liye baad mein pata chala ki main personally sab karta to ye bahut cheap padta. Jitna pay kiya tha uske aadhe se bhi kam.. 19000 ka main meri wife and mera sala.. Motorsailing 15000 mein hum 3no ka alag se.. parasailing 3000 mein alag se.. Dunes bike - 3500 alag se . Rajasthan ka trip mera sabse bekaar trip tha lifetime ka. Kerala gaya tha bahut khush hun 12 din ka trip lekin scam jaisa kuch nahi hua.

agree and Thanks. As our upcomming plan is Rajasthan. We faced this kind of issue in sikkim. Driver we got hired from Hotel misguided us for the next day tour plans. So we have learnt,, always go with the Hotel allocated tour plan. Not the Driver designed tour plan.

Sam sand dunes are overhyped and over crowded . Just returned from jaisalmer and booked our camp in khuri sand dunes . It was just amazing, had jeep safari which was just amazing ,camel safari awesome cultural program and on top did the parasailing at 700 per head. Seeing videos about the scams in desert in the internet I fell very blessed.
Could you share the name of the camp too? And were these activities booked through the camp itself?

Same thing happened with us, there is an agent right before the train who will tell you that the hotel will be less expensive then when you ask about camping they will not tell you when you reach the hotel then you will be forced to camp. According their rate .
Scammers are every where in the world i too travelled to jesalmer in 2021 when i was 73 i had a packege of 5000rs 2 days stay in jesalmer and one night in sand dunes on the way to dunes driver asked me if kudhara is here and extra 1000 rs will be coast i was alone big wheecle i paid then night time in the dunes calbeliya show was orgenised there were hardly 20 tourists on the floor scammers wanted me to dence with unknown girls wanted me to drink but i was firm not to do i explained them my age and my health problem then they just went away from me .finally at 12 i went to my hut but they continued for long. Food was good both night and morning wheecal was too big and good but yes they want to extract more money from you by many ways .otherwise rajshthaan is very safe for travellers. I have visited 6 times.otherwise entire india is too safe for travellers. Thx for your exp.

Dont book pakages. Book open road hostel in jaisalmer. It's the best place to stay there. He is definitely not a scammer

I personally faced a lot dadagiri, not all are bad but cab people and some selected people bohot dadagiri karte hai.. itna toh maharashtra me nahi hota.. i thought maharashtra is bad.. but seriously my opinion about rajasthans padharo mhaare des has changed..

I was in Jaisalmer 2 weeks back, I did Desert stay in Rs 800 per person which included Camer ride normal camp + dinner + morning breakfast . Dance was not included it was raw dessert stay there were Indian as well as Foreigner with me

@@lifeoftheriders me and my wife did camel ride plus Thar Jeep ride about 6 points,, which included Thar desert and some other film shooting points,,we paid 1600 rupees,,the Jeep ride was really good and it was about 45 minutes,, later local Jeep driver told that it was normally 1000 rupees for such ride,,we knew we were paying more but there was no other choice

btw i completed my whole trip yesterday from MH se amritsar, vaishnodevi ka plan tha tab socha tha ke rajasthan me 2 din explore karunga..... Pr ye sab dekh ke cancel kiya, golden templ aur vaishnodevi aur sonmarg tak ka kashimri explore kar liya....
jab me akela ya frnds ke saath aunga tab rajasthan explore karunga..
I also encountered same situation in Jaisalmer, we were 2 person , scammer targeted us at railway station offered a good hotel room with very cheap rates along with he asked us to buy sam dunes packages and promised many activities but after buying that package in 14k for 2 people he scammed us the same as you described in your video and happened much more with us, then we threatened that scammer stating that we are filing a complaint in tourism department then he renew our package.
When we discussed this with some hindu locals there then they told us that muslim majority are mostly doing these scams, and govt. Is not taking any single steps against them.
I never suggest any solo travel to visit Jaisalmer alone.
So sorry to hear that you faced such scenario. It must be very difficult to tackle such scam by females. Such incident leave trauma experience in our mind. Thank god you are safe. And yes, you are right this place is not good for solo traveller. Can you tell me your real story in detail if possible. Please connect me on insta @lifeoftheriders. Guys all the camps and everything is owned by Muslims in Sam sand dunes but in khuri all are owned by Rajputs u won't't see any scams over there it's totally different and if u go to sam search for bhati desert camp it's really good and budget friendly u will love it.

kyunki sirf tum hi negative comment diye baaki niche comment mai sabne agree bhi kiya and apna worst experience share bhi kiya. Also jaisalmer ke scam pe aur bhi kaafi videos viral ho rahi hai. So, tum chahe kitna bhi negative comment karlo jo sach hai woh saamne aake rahega

I am traveller you can check my other videos too. so whenever we encounter such scam we highlight it in our vlogs so that the problem which I had faced during my travelling, my people should not go through such hurdles.

This scamming thing has nothing to do with religion. I visited jaisalmer one week ago and found the most humble people. The people are poor yet most humble. I will suggest to book a good desert camp after watching reviews. If u book cheap camps or try to book any camp by going onsite , everyone will try to take advantage and fool you. During my visit to the desert after taking ride my online payment got stuck and the host was generous enough to let us go without making any payment, and we made the payment after reaching home the next day. Dont give reviews based on your improper planning.
I also had bad experience in jaipur were we booked a rajputana travels cab and the driver made us skip many the popular places and asked us to visit expensive shop so that he can get commission. So should i start blaming his religion?
I read your comments properly. First of all friend I didnt commented on religion. And secondly I had already planned for campsite but this person was following me for almost 5 kilometre and didnt let me go. Please see the video properly. Try to understand what I am trying to convey. He was requesting me at earlier stage and later on he started showing his true colour. He took advantage of me being nice to him and this is the way they do scams
