You don't need to be sad he is just creating hype I know am from Rajasthan but lives in Delhi near by haryana and uttarpradesh believe these three states way more dangerous than Rajasthan you will always live in fear. Specially in haryana and uttarpradesh.

This is harsh reality of many tourist places... and the scammers are now very active at there... they have unity with local police and all.. so difficult to get out from their trap too...
The worst has happened with us, these people tried to loot us at 10 pm at night in the sam desert area. They all gathered together 3 bikes 1 bolero and block aided our way and even threw stones to stop us and chased us for like 5-7 kms

Bhai.. Arunbhai ki baat sahi.. Hai... Mein 16august ko jaisalmer gaya tha..or tent book kiya tha.. And vo bande bol rahe the ye to pura pack hai.. Shaam ko guest aayenge.. But hum akele the sari raat koi nai aaya dusre din tak... Very unsafe vibes aati hai.. Bhai.. Mein to ek baar jaa aaya but doobara family k sath to kavi vi nai jaunga.. And Ye Bike wale scammers bhi bahot hai...

Your safety is important for us and for cars.

i pre booked camping and went there with my family in daytime.
I also had the same feeling of safety issues so I returned back to the city but then the camping manager from city office came with us back to the camp to assure the safety and then we enjoyed a lot lot that night till 1a.m.
But again after that we couldn't stay at the camps and came back to the City hotel for night stay..
Safety is first priority

We also went to jaisalmer felt exactly the same at those resorts , extremely isolated and the vibes were very dull .

Our own experience on 10th july 2023.
Most people in Rajasthan were not having very good vibes & neither are very helpful wheras when crossing haryana we met almost 100% of people very helpful & that too at 2 - 3 am at night.
Amazing meri jaan, the fun of traveling in such a car is different brother.

You are in Jaisalmer on wrong time, try to come in hard winters, in monsoon you should have visited Udaipur an another beautiful city of Rajasthan, else you also could visit Jodhpur, Marwadi people are the most genuine, Love from Jaipur 🫶❤️

Arun bhai I’m currently in Sam Desert at Karma Golden Sand. Most of the tents that are away from the main roads, is for the same reason to give you privacy and a village like feel. It is a possibility that the tent you prebooked wasn’t safe, but that’s not the case for all.
Also for the desert Safari, the sand dunes are in the interior, you won’t find it on the main road, like you see it at dubai. Sand dunes activities happen a lot in the interior. The sand dunes are not as vast as you see it in dubai but good enough to enjoy in an off-roader.
No intentions to demotivate or bring you down, but maybe a little better reeky would have lead you to the sand dunes.
I did see a fortuner getting stuck in the sand dunes. So ensure you have a cable ranch or a pick up truck (standby) if you take your endeavour the next time.
Jeeps are light in weight and agile, hence they are preferred.

I visited such a camp that was off location from main road and i was also feeling insecure in that camp.....i advise everyone to book a camp only on main road because of safety concern of you or your family
