Hey Annie!! Thanks so much!! that is so sweet of you! That can be more challenging, but I am teaching myself how to do it and loving the results. Lots of possibilities, right. Take care Annie.
Aww....thanks so much!! Those pieces take a little practice for sure. Im still trying to perfect this technique. I appreciate your kind words and also thanks for watching!! Happy potting!
Such great techniques! Thank you for sharing. And excuse me while I fangirl over here about the STUNNING way you put watercolor masterpieces ON CLAY. Blows me away every time.
Hey Em!! You are so sweet!! I have been trying to teach myself how to perfect that method. So far I am excited about how they are coming out. Take care!!
I know I say this all the time, but I’m amazed at your artistic ability with clay! Your painted pieces are breathtaking, and you’re such a nice person to boot. I love your channel❤️🤗🐝
You are truly talented! I absolutely love the way you draw and paint on your pieces!! ABSOLUTELY beautiful ❣️ I would love to see you make some videos showing how you draw and paint such beautiful pieces in a more slower focused way so we might be able to pick up on just how to make a draw and paint on flowers, birds and more. Pieces that look more 3D. 🥰😍
Thanks! I do have some videos that are focused just on my painting techniques. They are in the links in the descriptions. They are very detailed and typically 90 minutes or more. I take you step by step. They are on Vimeo and part of my Workshop Series Videos.
Yet Another inspiring video! Loved the stencil ready for a celadon glaze , near the end of the vidoe; would love to see that one glazed! Thanks for the video!
Hi Diane. You are right. That one was really cool. I should have saved it and glazed it. I just ran out of time before publishing to get them dried and glaze and I didnt save any of these but used the clay for the next video, haha :-) I might have to try that one again.
Hello Ann, I have been learning a lot from you. One thing that is making it hard for me is how to make frills/ruffles in pottery. I’m talking about like you would gather fabric to make frills. Not scalloping. I did many scalloping. Please help ! Thank you and have a great day. 🌸
Hey Michelle. Which technique are you asking about? Actually, Jim has a list of most of the tools I use in the description section above if you want to take a look. Maybe you will find what you are looking for there. Thanks for watching!!!
Hi. Thank you for the beautiful work and ideas. What do you do with the leftovers of clay and celadon stain? Is it possible to recycle it or just get rid of it? Thank you 🙏
Lots of variables...I've only used slip dots on bisqued pieces...if you are trying to coat a piece with slip after bisque it will most likely crack off. Thanks.
You are amazing. What I like most is that I can take many of your techniques and use them with my youth students.
Hey Carolyn. Really? I love to hear that!! That makes my day!! Tell your class hello for me!
That last example is fabulous!! Just Wow!
Hey Annie!! Thanks so much!! that is so sweet of you! That can be more challenging, but I am teaching myself how to do it and loving the results. Lots of possibilities, right. Take care Annie.
I love the little raccoon with his paws that stand out...well done :)

Great idea! We will put it on our list of topics to cover in the future.
where did you find the stencil? thank you so much! for the wonderful information!
Hey Billye!!! Great to hear from you. That is one of my favorite stencils. I got it at my local craft store. Check your Michaels store.
thanks so much. I'm on my way
@@billyesinger2920 Haha go Billye!!
This is great. Would you mind telling us what tools you use?
Hey Michelle. Which technique are you asking about? Actually, Jim has a list of most of the tools I use in the description section above if you want to take a look. Maybe you will find what you are looking for there. Thanks for watching!!!
Thanks!
Do you fire any of these so we can see the finished look?
Thank you for your support Patrick - we really appreciate it! Welcome to the LSPRF Team!
Oh and sorry Patrick...the only piece fired was the last one featured in the video.
Hi. Thank you for the beautiful work and ideas.
What do you do with the leftovers of clay and celadon stain? Is it possible to recycle it or just get rid of it? Thank you 🙏
Are you talking about clay that is contaminated with colored slip? If so, I just save it in a separate bag for later use (agateware etc).
Can you use casting slip for slip trailing?
Dont know - have not tried it...perhaps others have ideas???
How do you remove the piece from the wheel without damaging the pattern with finger marks?
Can you add colored slip to your pot after bisque fired?
Lots of variables...I've only used slip dots on bisqued pieces...if you are trying to coat a piece with slip after bisque it will most likely crack off. Thanks.
