We made it to Kalispell Montana last week from Southern Oklahoma and we love it. We went to Kayak Bowman Lake yesterday and made it all the way to end and back and it was Beautiful.
Beautiful country and a good amount of land. It's a curious setup with that nontraditional sleeping arrangement in the cabin. The generator looks brand new. I bet he could go through a new generator every couple of years. Maybe those cabins are for rental or large extended family which is common in less densely population parts of MT and ID if you catch my drift. It's tough to say what that is worth being so unusual and 35 miles off the grid.

This place is really nice, however there should be reference to the selling price. I've watched videos of property in various states and most usually give the asking price for the property. It gives serious buyers a reason to call. Personally, I don't want to call and enquire about property that's out of my price range, therefore knowing the asking price in the video / description let's me know if I should even call.
That's a long hard drive on dry dusty gravel. It's a popular road too due to the Polebridge Mercantile being at the end of it, the Huckleberry bear claw pastry, in my opinion, was not worth the drive! It's also the entrance to a couple of hikes into glacier national park. Last year they had wildfires that truly threatened the area - scary stuff! Huge consideration and if you're planning on being there in the winter, it's a long road to plough out! For sure you're smack bang in the grizzlies back yard. Probably suitable for hiker's/backpackers respite but I didn't see any toilet or shower facilities for them plus they don't want to pay much so not a great business opportunity. I've been looking for a tiny home for awhile and this is just way too remote. To live year round you'd need to be a true homesteader, and that means growing veggies, chickens .... which will bring the bears around. I'm still looking but for sure will pass on this even if it was cheap as chips! Oh, but I love this video you did, it's so helpful and having driven past, you gave a true report of the accommodations. Please post more 🤗
Sweet set up. But, I'm kind of lazy, so I would have to have somebody around just to keep everything running, the snow shoveled, and the bear's away. But, I'm also very poor. I guess I better stay where I'm at.

Yep. Asking prices are falling. Almost all homes/cabins in Big Sky have dropped significantly but probably have a bunch more to go.
