The smell makes me drool before I even taste it. There’s some real keyboard warriors out there, that’s for sure. Peppers take completely different when roasted, very sweet and delicious. They are a fabulous vessel for other ingredients, tomatoes, garlic and mozzarella as you say. It's maybe the sweetness you like Amanda. There is absolutely no need for you and Ian to explain your selves regarding your living sutuation nor what you do for a living! Your just working class people showing food can do on a budget. All of us are feeling the pinch regardless of class! X

You need to ease up on the trolls, clearly their one remaining functioning brain cell has gone on holiday and they are lonely 😁 Some, unfortunately see it as a sport, they are just a sheer waste of precious oxygen and they’ll try to do anything for a rise. Love this recipe, make similar myself. Try adding a dash of Soy Sauce, sounds weird but it works really well. Oh and those ‘baguettes’ just amazing, they would probably cost north of £6 each down south!!!! Thank you for posting, continuing to post and don’t let the trolls get you down.

Hi Mandy I just have to tell you I’ve just made this bread and it’s gorgeous yesterday I bought home my very first stand mixer ( it was my dads ) and this was the very first recipe that came to mind to make and I’m not disappointed , the hardest part of the whole thing was folding the foil and grease proof paper lol 🤣thank you for a great bread recipe I’ve written it out in my book and I know it will be used again and again , sorry for long comment but so chuffed with the result thank you , Amanda xx🥖🥖
Like some of the other commenters have said try blackening the pepper either by popping it in a baking tray and into a hot oven or place it in direct contact with a flame and keep it on the move until the skin has turned black then put it into a plastic bag and close the mouth of the bag straight away, this makes the pepper start to sweat which causes the slightly indigestible skin to slide off the outside, I use a paper towel to rub the outside with to get all of the pieces of blackened skin off then just cut into the softened pepper and remove the stalk , the pepper will then be easy to turn inside out and scrape out the core along with the seeds and the white ribs. The pepper will be soft and supple and taste slightly smoky but sweeter than ever and you shouldn’t have any problems with digesting it. This will work well with most fresh peppers even with the chilli peppers and give any dish you add peppers treated like this to a totally different taste dimension.
Waking up, drinking coffee and watching you guys puts me in a calm mood for the day. I love sausage meat pasta sauce the good Italian restaurants often serve it. 😊

Maybe their brains aren't wired quite right or they're incredibly jealous people, no idea, but very sad all the same. Personally, I wouldn't even answer those comments and explain,; your lives, your business. Keep doing what you do, love your vlogs. I've always bought chopped tomatoes to put in pasta, stews etc., you've made me think twice now, think I'll buy the whole tomatoes in future. ❤

Try Chorizo sausage, I use that with pasta and its gorgeous also makes a nice sausage casserole.
