looks like a great piece of hardware and cheap. this iis especially good if you can't afford to get the rane 57 mixer, or you're playing in clubs that don't have one. nice.
I bought the tables from a friend who already had the covers... they are your run of the mill 1200 covers...Im going to get them painted soon though...not so "smurfy" this time ;)
@djjoshuacarl Nice video bro, I might just grab it, seems like fun, but there's a lot of preparation needed in order to really use it in a flash/smooth way :) And thank goodness for the reggae horn being a pre-loaded sample, it's probably the first thing I'll remove :P
they havent released any information since their inital announcement.... but the "livefeed" option in 1.9 is kinda a hint of things to come with ableton merger

@djyannaki : I have been pondering this myself, I think I am going to go with LPD8 simply because of the knobs. I would trade the XY touch pad and some buttons for 8 knobs, better functionality imo.
I had none at all, but Ive read that some computers do... if you have an express cardslot you might want to look into an 800 firewire card and harddrive (If thats where you store your music) check out my other video on the 500gb harddrive.
click midi CTrl + ALT + loop roll amount (under the deck) 1/32 ,1/4, 1 ect ect once its highlighted, click the midi pad. konnix has a fool-prrof vid if u cant figure it out. I talk about it in this video in detail. watch it again
how do you tell the program what to do on wich button? iis it hard to map this device? i'm thinking of buying it for my scratch live but i am a total beginner concerned midi.
im havin trouble gettin it to work with serato. Im on 1.8.3 and installed the korg kontrol editor but cant figure out how to assign the loops/samples. help!
Ok like mize is cuming in the mail frm muisc friend so I'm a lazy guy is so can I load hole hooks on the pad cuz wen I lay down the hook I just would load the hook on the right spots on the beat so will it hold hole hooks 4 a song?
It comes standard on the Dell Xps and I believe even the dell studio as well (but the studio isnt as ballsy as the xps', so I wouldnt get it if ur gonna try video)

verryyy goood i bought it todayyyyyy i really recommend it to any serato scratch live users
so in theory you could tap/drum cue points to mix songs? great review btw, you should do more on your other gear. J

yes, it does... it just needs to be manually mapped through their midi function.
mapping in serato is 100% easier and an be done on the fly.
@corebot85 They just made a Garageband-Logic template for nanopad. It's on korg's website. My nano comes in 3 days! So excited!

I thought so too at first... but it hasnt happend yet... and I pound on it.
eventually, when I get the MBP I wont be able to put it therer anymore.
Ive seen some people try to set that up and its a bit awkward...I tried to assign the x/y to some knobs, and its just difficult

the dicer seems to be able to do the same...now can you set this up with the efx for 2.1?
