SUPERB video. it flies by ! Phenomenal editing. Loved the drone work, both with the surfer music, and the classic rock vibe. Sheena was adorable 🥰 so many cool people ! Loved the beach there as well. What a great experience ! And a German Bistro to boot. So cool you have friends there like Michael Onstadt to guide you to wonderful places to show us. Thank you all !
San Juan La Union is one of the areas I served during my mission in 1983. That place used to be a paradise until it got exploited into a resort community. They do have nice beaches there.
Great video. Thanks for showing the public market of every town or city you’ve visited. I always get so excited every time i see a lot of fresh vegetables and different kind of fishes.
Great video Michael. I am Ed's old neighbor from Korea. Please let me know if you come to MNL. I love that you saw Michael Onstead. I am going to get my insurance from him as well. Happy travels.
Hello🙂, Ed was one of my favorite interviews of Michael. He is the USA veteran in a wheelchair, that Michael interviewed in a British pub in IloIlo, if I recall correctly. I hope he & you are well. Plz give him this viewer’s best wishes & greetings.
Hi Michael another great video. Once I get settled in Roxas City I will start doing road trips again. I can go back to some of your older videos to find a good place to go. So thanks for what you do. Keep traveling so that we have ideas where to go.
Thanks Michael for showing and sharing your views of the Philippines 🇵🇭.. I’m a Fil-Can living in Vancouver for 30 yrs.. and to tell you, I’m so happy to see a few of your vlogs that I’ve never been there.. love to go home and stay longer.. cheers 🍻

Great video! I was up in the same area years ago. We stayed in Tagudin and Pattiqui, not far from San Fernando. Totally liked going to Baguio at the SM mall.
Great beach hangout to meet expats. That whole area was tops. Such wonderful people work at those fancy hotels. 6 days a week and that girl lived an hour away. The best people.
Osmeña peak is closer to Moalboal. You can rent a motorscooter in Moalboal to get there. Highest point at Cebu City is tops lookout what they are restoring at the moment.
My wife is Ilacano from Vigan if you go to Vigan you should visit her family restaurant thats been around for over 70 years the name of the restaurant is Tessies she is in Canada with me right now 🎉
It is hard to travel PI due to the price increase on lodging and clean good food. Like mentioned "Red Door" is the go to place for lodging but the value for the money is gone. This is why I will stay in Thailand and surrounding countries.
You are so friendly to everyone at the market :-) , equal opportunity vlogger :-) My husband will never do that, he's too shy, although I wish he's more open to the locals...By the way, Osmena Peak is in Dalaguete, not too far from Oslob where you watched the whale sharks...
pedicab and tricycles are very useful in PH. I think we adapted that from the German soldiers like how we adapted jeepness from the gringos ( Americans soldiers).
wow thanks for showing Final Options! one on the icons in San Juan & professionally managed by Germans I guess. Professional & hospitable staff. I was there 2 weeks Ago I I loved their German beers & food

Interesting flea market for everything like clothing, groceries and fresh meats. It is identical to how the villages in China sell their produce. These markets have freshly cut meats intended to be sold-out by the end of the day because the meats are not refrigerated.
Maybe a little word of advice from an old man … my friend please 🙏🏻 please start stopping to smell the roses. Life flies by faster than you can imagine
Hi Mike, where was that beach where its also a undeveloped area of la union ...just thinking of investing in a lot their ,, is their a sm or mall nearby their?😮great blog as always and interacting with the locals😊

That hotel, although nice, is charging Hawaii prices for a so so beach around nothing spectacular. It’s no wonder some Pilipinos prefer international travel to its neighbours than touring their own country and getting ripped off by their own countrymen. Pretty sad situation price wise in the Philippines
Onstad chose a real sweet spot to have german draft beer by the beach. I could stay there forever! Did you end up seeing any women in string bikinis? Lol Congrats on the 25K subs!

I watch a lot of your videos but I need to be honest… some of the titles and cover image of the videos are cringe and bordering on giving a negative impression. Just please be aware and what anybody might think of the content of the video and most of all the impression it gives of the Philippines and the people. There are some not well meaning people out there that we don’t want visiting the Philippines with ill intention. ✌️
This is literally humour of something that actually happened in the video. I realize some people have zero tolerance for humour but I can't live my life pleasing everyone and be successful.
