Thanks for the healthy ketchup recipe! I’ve been making my own mayo and salad dressings for years, and eliminated ketchup-now I can add it back in. Dr G for the win!
Thanks to you, Dr. Gundry. I make my own mayonnaise one cup at a time with olive oil and I make my own salad dressing so my macaw can join me. Whenever are those wretched companies going to stop sea oils and make food our body can handle????
Haven’t purchased Ketchup in about 5 years. Now I do buy Organic or non-GMO Avocado Oil Mayonnaise. Chosen and Primal Kitchen have a handful of ingredients and no sugar. I thin it out with Filtered Water, Tapioca Statch, Coconut Flour, Red Wine Vinegar and Organic Mustard. 1/2 of 12oz jar can last 6-7 salads. The Star of the Salad is the Salad and NOT the Dressing! I DO NOT drench the! I am considered but Organic Balsamic Vinegar after watching these videos!
I don’t eat condiments. My diet is very simple and clean. I make my own salad dressing, which is usually only apple cider vinegar and olive oil. I have been making mustard to have because of its health benefits. I just grind mustard seed in a coffee grinder and add vinegar and put in the refrigerator. I have made mayonnaise many times. Ty 😊
When i realised most savoury condiments are mostly just sugar with vinegar, seed oils and some flavours, I too gave up the sauces and just add the vinegar, some fat and flavours without all the sugar. Your taste adjusts quickly and i now cant imagine adding all that extra sugar to my meals.
Hi Dr Gundry, can you please tell us when is the best time to take vitamin D3 for the people who suffer from sever chronic Insomnia like me and other people who has same issue like me as well Thx
6:30. Microwave? Black pepper will mess you up good. Sucanat would be good added to the ketchup. Hard to trust olive oil, or any food, in metal. I have had olive oil in metal containers corrode. Bono oil has been good for me.
For the ketchup recipe, you're forgetting the "spice" part which gives ketchup its distinct flavor: cloves and allspice. Keep in mind with cloves, a little goes a LONG way.
I use Heinz “No Sugar Added” ketchup which much be better for our health than regular Heinz with all the added sugars. I’ve given up so many things that are bad for our health but I’m not willing to get rid of good ol’Heinz ketchup completely! I’ve cut back on quantity consumed too!
1:04 Sorry, couldn't find any of that stuff. The closest I got was lingonberry jam and Dijon mustard. The former I eat maybe every second month, the latter once a week.
Way too hard. Just put all ingredients into a pint mason jar, let set for a while (like 30 minutes), and blend with stick blender. Start at the bottom of the jar for 30 seconds, then slowly move toward top to incorporate the rest of the oil slowly. Stop when all the oil is incorporated or when mayo is as stiff as you want. OR, if the mayo fails to properly emulsify, add another egg, and blend again. Always use entire egg, don’t waste the white. Just scrape the mayo from the stick blender into the mixing jar, cap a refrigerate while you use it. I have been making this for more than 5 years this way and it is delicious.
Excellent presentation! Thank you!
Very helpful. Thanks for sharing! Great presentation.
Thank you Jimmy S and Dr G. Loved it.

Hello Dr Gundry and Jimmy. Thank you for the recipes. Do you have recipes for Miracle Whip and Ranch dressing?
Thank you fellas for the pro-tips and advice for healthy eating.
4:55 using cold-pressed avocado oil is also good, if you don't like the fruity taste of an olive oil.
I buy Primal Kitchen ketchup and Chosen Foods mayo. No bad oils, no added sugars, mostly organic ingredients. 😊 I also take kelp capsules for iodine.
That Homemade Ketchup is a Winner. I noticed the Chef used Tomato Paste in a tube. So do I; Cento Organic Tomato Paste in a BPA free tube!
Where do y'all get that? The tube?
FoodMaxx and Safeway in Calif both carry the tubes of tomato paste. @@angelaharris1112
Most commercial mayonnaise uses seed oil especially soybean. Even a premium Japanese brand that I found uses seed oils.
Thanks . Great info 😊
Thanks.!
That’s what we need another alternatives for healthy living❤
I haven’t eaten ketchup and mayonnaise since 2016 ….,,thank you Dr Grundy for sharing

They ARE condiments.
Sounds like you do, you just make them yourself.
Dr. Gundry,
Can MCT be substituted for EVOO?! 🤔
My question too!!! I use the C8-only MCT.
Hi Dr Gundry,

What is in the processed mustards being used?
Most of the Organic Mustards have 4-8 ingredients and you know what they are. 5:29
My Favorite Condiment is Tabasco .
😋😋😋😋😋😋😋😋😋😋😋😋😋
Can you also breakdown the cost for these options please?
What oil is that?
Olive oil testes really better after that "emulsification"...
Homemade mayo is by far the healthiest condiment along with dijon mustard! You can also make it in the blender. Very easy 🫶🏻
Can you eat it once or twice a year ?
yeah! Did not know about Italian law to remove seeds and skin...

Pouring oil pretty fast
So now tomato is fine?
If peeled and deseeded for level 3 plant paradox.

Thanks
have problemswith use of salt..esp as a cardiologist he should know better..why not sub with potassium chloride?
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Well. I'm allergic to citrus, so no. Also should add allspice to the ketchup.
I drink high frutose corn syrup for breakfast getting tired of these "middle" foods

odd they use a Dijon Mustard in a bottle instead of making their own.
Canola oil has linoleic acid
So mustard outta a plastic bottle ??? Goes against the first few min of their pitch.
1:04 Sorry, couldn't find any of that stuff. The closest I got was lingonberry jam and Dijon mustard. The former I eat maybe every second month, the latter once a week.
I just took a look at my "off the shelf" mustard. Seems to have a lot of soy oil and/or other seed oils. Need to find an alternative brand.
