Would the second way work on a Dell Laptop? Pressing Alt + F10? i I installed Windows 10 when it first came out and right after that, I began getting a Boot Configuration Data is missing. I get the 8 beep sound. I tried a bunch of different ways to get it started but no luck. There was one time when I barely went through the entire reset process but it cut out on me on the last installment. It was close to 50%. After that; the screen is all black and I just can't get it to work. I would try the Alt + F10. I'm not sure if it would work on a Dell. Nonetheless; thank you very much for your video. They are a huge help for those of us who don't know anything about computers.
@@PC_Monkey I tried this scan but I couldn’t get it open. I turned it on and hit the F12 but nothing happened. The screen continues to remain dark. I don’t have the original CD but I was able to find the original paperwork on it. I’m going to try contacting Dell Support and see what they tell me to do. If I can get the original CD; do you think the screen might turn on? It was running Windows 7 originally and everything was running smoothly but after installing Windows 10 everything went berserk. Anyway, my friend; thank you so very much for taking the time to help. Hopefully I can find a way to get it running once more. I will let you know what Dell says about running the original disk. I really need help on restarting my pc with all those problems . please reply to this comment with help if possible.
After logging in the screen goes black? What signs are there at that time that the computer is still on? Lights, Fan, Motherboard or Hard Drive sounds?

Yes they are separate systems. Can you access BIOS at all? If so, you can select 'factory reset' from inside BIOS. If you cant access BIOS, you can try a manual reset as seen here; th-cam.com/video/76I2Ec9K7lw/w-d-xo.html
Depends on your computer. On the operating system health currently on there and the speed of the computer. Some computers are done in 10 minutes and some take 2 hrs
Driver information? It depends on where your restore point is. Most likely, you will lose many of the preinstalled apps and will have to get them again

Hey, when ever I turn on my acer laptop which is an aspire 3 it boots up and I see the acer logo but when the dots are spinning they freeze and it restarts up, and I did your other steps in the other video you made yo fix a boot loop and it didn’t work, and when I do the alt f10 on boot fix, and go to reset I can click it and it says getting ready but just takes me back to original menu with the blue screen asking me if I want to troubleshoot, continue or turn off
If you cannot get the factory reset to complete, you will have to perform a new install of Windows as seen here; th-cam.com/video/bIlW4im-tr4/w-d-xo.html. You can create your own install media for free as seen here; th-cam.com/video/g_UhiHScaSI/w-d-xo.html.
If that does not work either, than your most likely looking at a bad hard drive. It should then be replaced.
Are you able to run this scan on your Dell? th-cam.com/video/IsqINCxx_Ik/w-d-xo.html
Take care and Happy Thanksgiving to you, your family, and all your fans.

Hi please help and sorry if it seems like faq. I started to reset the laptop for a acer swift 3. TH-camd how to. Said use shift after restarting it. hello . i have an acer aspire laptop and i was planning to reset it because it has many problems , including blackscreen after login. So the only method i can use is the alt+f10 method . but there also is a problem that whenever i hold a keyboard key when turning on my laptop , it plays a beeping sound continuously . I really need help on restarting my pc with all those problems . please reply to this comment with help if possible.
After logging in the screen goes black? What signs are there at that time that the computer is still on? Lights, Fan, Motherboard or Hard Drive sounds?

Hi. How long will it take to reset the laptop usually?
Depends on your computer. On the operating system health currently on there and the speed of the computer. Some computers are done in 10 minutes and some take 2 hrs

Bruhh😂😂😂
Is there a way to optan the original iso anywhere to restore like that

Driver information? It depends on where your restore point is. Most likely, you will lose many of the preinstalled apps and will have to get them again
