you can attempt to study this all you want but what you're saying is it "clearly" sounds scottish, well if it was clear i wouldn't of commented, would i? It doesn't take a genius to hear changes and tiny disparities in tones of voice, I've watched alot of BBC UK and BBC America not to mention having extended family members from scotland & Ireland and I've never heard a scottish persons voice sound like this, you can clearly hear the differences & shakiness in his vocals throughout the whole clip it sounds like he's switching between different accents if only slightly, the fact you don't hear this is concerning and makes me doubt your opinion even more. Not to mention copying the speech pattern of eccelston and tennant, his entire character is very bland, the only thing that makes this doctor unique is the color of his skin & his blue hair.
you do realize how pretentious you sound by writing me an entire essay, correct? How much spare time do you have in order to put this much detail into an online debate with someone you don't even know. You also definitely don't need a goddamn masters degree in phonetics in order to tell when an actor is shit with the way they convey their lines & the "nuances" in their tone and the way he copies the styles of eccelston and tennant, that just takes a good pair of headphones and some decent eyes & ears you're overthinking it. & i wasn't saying those were the three accents he has, I was saying that's what it sounded like to me. RIP Doctor Who
And also doctor who used technology save ruby
what is it with doctor who companions wearing short skirts, not that i`m complaining, and sometimes when you watch the original series, at least some episodes, seem to be spot the pretty ladies, pants.
She’s wearing shorts, not a skirt.
Why does everyone hate on this? I personally like it now it’s fine to not like it that’s your opinion but people are bashing on it and I’m tryna figure out why?
❤
The new Doctor is great ❤ Now let's crank it up to eleven: I want to have JENNA COLEMAN as the 16TH DOCTOR (yes, there'll be an existential merger).
@fgjsdfgjkl You're absolutely right! She shall become known as "THE iMPOSSiBLE DOCTOR".
If Capaldi's Doctor was wondering why he got that face, and Tenant's 14th wondered why he got his face back, it'll be really something to see how Coleman's Doctor trying to figure out her face! (Pity Colin Baker's Doctor never wondered why he got his face, though...)
@@ugolomb She'll be calm at first, wondering what has happened, but she'll have the memories of both characters (all the Doctors and all the Claras), so she'll realize the deal, raise her arms, scream out of joy, zoom out, end of season!
All nicked from Time Bandits.
This episode was so boring compared to the last couple ones
Makes sense. They were 60th specials, while this is a christmas special. These tend to be slower and more goofy, though I personally wouldn't call it boring.

I really want to see this Movie: do not care of how many is disappoint!
It's already out and It's not a movie, It's a christmas special.
He has 3 accents & all of them sound horrible.
go ahead and educate me, then big guy, go for it. 🤣🤣
I didn't say they were incorrect. i said they were horrible, he Sounds like his voice wavers between British/Jamaican & an offbrand American tinge at the end of some of his words. His voice is constantly wavering between those 3 different accents and he never picks one to stick with. It sounds horrible to me, at least.
Got a problem w that big man?
you can attempt to study this all you want but what you're saying is it "clearly" sounds scottish, well if it was clear i wouldn't of commented, would i?
I also NEVER claimed to be an expert on any of this it's just my opinion,
Okay big man? 👍
@ayy-fn5io you really had to use an alt account as botted likes? You realize i can see both of your interactions with other peoples comments because of TH-cam recommendations, right? It's funny how you always seem to come at the perfect moments as well! Wow, what an opportunitist, or just a lonely guy behind a computer screen wishing he had real friends. . .
Either that or you and your friend over here are weirdly obsessed with commenting on the same "thread"
Fragile ego much? Or.. is that someone with too much free time & not enough social interaction
:( Poor you.
Oh, and P.S. about educating me.. i was being sarcastic. However, now i realize sarcasm over the internet definitely sucks. Henceforth, I will now tell you to shove it up your own a$$.
Shove it up your own a$$ 👍
One of the worst episodes of New Who.
The Doctor doesn't literally sing and dance!
He metaphorically sings and dances. That is his whole thing!
If this is where Disney/BBC is heading with Who, I'm out.
As I see it this doctor look different to the last ones. I think it showing that he finally come terms with everything than has happened to him and what he has done. He look more happier here now after what happened with the 14th Doctor in the 60th anniversary. So learn how to dance and sing. 😂
Jesus Christ, this was a Christmas special. What did you expect? A dark story with everyone dying in the end? And the singing part was literally for 30 seconds. Are you really that stupid that you can't get over a 30 seconds clip?
Tom Baker's first episode involves him dancing and doing card tricks to distract the bad guys
Just when I thought it couldn't get worse Jodie Whittaker didn't even research Doctor Who it's a shame I'm not blaming the actor but this isn't going to do well at all
Ncuti Gatwa is a HUGE doctor who fan. What exactly makes him a bad choice?
Ncuti is a huge Doctor Who fan like David Tennant and Peter Capaldi was
You know that's not Jodie Whittaker, right?
Ugh
Oh yes the brand new soon to be old companion who was fired for being white.
It was probably her decision to leave, she's a young actress who may well have a long list of things she wants to achieve, which means she can't afford to stay in one place too long
Oh yeah, right. Because a companion for only 1 season has never ever happened before.... except for Martha. And Donna. And Bill. And Nardole. And Dan....
@@BaronMartinOr the Master.

Is the Doctor now a secret crossdresser? I mean c'mon - wishing he was called Lulabelle...
It's a cool name, better than Theet.
@@CyberController-Question is... Now that Dr Who has changed gender, faced adverseries that have also changed gender and adversaries that have thrown down their bed and walked, he could be going to be a crossdresser. The series has become less about science fiction and more about displaying the wierdest perversions in society. Stuff we normally never see nor think about.
@@britishtechguru The Doctor isn't human, gender doesn't have the same meaning to them as it does us. This has always been the case.
for him it wouldn't be crossdressing, in world enough and time the 12th doctor said that the timelords are beyond gender and sterotypes in a flashback.
@@AcknowledgerofdoctorwhoThat opens the door for the next doctor to be shown in bed doing the nasty with a llama!
Really bad, this fool makes Sylvester McCoy look like Marlon Brando, definitely the worst Dr so far.
L take
You assume that on just 1 episode? Seriously?
@@jaytender4949 on a Christmas special, no less
the fact you're calling sylvester mccoy a bad doctor proves you have no idea what you're talking about.
When I was a kid it was Jon Pertwee and Tom Baker, grown up by the time McCoy took the role so old enough to know what good looks like. McCoy was crap and the show was rightly killed off because of the ridiculous storylines and his lack of talent and charisma. He was the Jimmy Carter of Doctors@@Acknowledgerofdoctorwho

Disney doesn't have creative control. They fund it and they ask for favour every now and again if their gonna air the episode on Disney Plus.
