- Oct 2021: Volkswagen Taigun Variants Explained: In this video, we review Taigun’s variants to find out which variant makes the most sense for buyers in terms of the value it offers for the money you pay. Watch the video to find out which variant of the Taigun suits your needs best.
There are 2 petrol engines on offer with the Taigun -- a 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine that makes 115PS of maximum power and a 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine that makes 150PS. Both the engines can be had with either a manual or an automatic transmission.

I just have one question, in your recent video on Skoda kushaq, you had recommended the ambition variant, but here with taiguan why is the highline variant not recommended. Inspite of being at the same price and similar features??

The main thing you missed is that GT Plus comes with DSG. The Highline is DCT. That is worth any price premium.

Thanks for the info, your channel is one of the best on TH-cam. Today (28/01/22) I went to book Highline variant and got to know 2022 models will not have auto foldable ORVMS that was earlier available in 2021 model. This change is applicable to all their models and variants. That was really disappointing to me! While the company has increased their ex-showroom price by almost 50K on the Highline AT version and has removed very basic feature. Kindly confirm before booking/buying. Thanks

Yeah , I am going to pick Highline Auto over the Topline AT . If i wanted those features in their Topline I'd buy a Creta
Cruise control is also available on highline at 1.0 and one more thing, the topline at has led projector headlamps but the second light barrel is a dummy unit where as the highline has a true double barrel halogen setup

why are you using kushaq active's touch screen to represent comfortline?

Good review, would be a good buy if 1.5L variant is 1L less expensive or they should add ADAS to this price to make it a lucrative buy… was rooting for the 1.5L variant.. now Xuv700 looks much lucrative 😇
Xuv 700 is so much more value for money, there is no comparison at all. And also, it doesn’t compromise on build quality or driving dynamics.
