When warm weather comes back you have to make a video of Hank giving us all a bluegill fishing clinic. Looks like he's always full of energy. Fine looking boy.
Wish I had a room like that ... Most of my extra baits are in large storage containers in the garage. Out of sight so that the wife really doesn't know how much I have 😁😁 . Never can have enough tackle ... wish I had room for peg board though .. Enjoyed the tour and seeing what Hank likes to use to ... Thanks for sharing ... Keep'em coming !!!
Its amazing how the good drinkers are now tougher than heck to get. Weller, Elmer, Blanton's...list goes on and on. I had about 300 bottles but sold about 250 a couple years ago...wish i hadnt at this point
Well at least you have a name for Hanks You Tube channel, when he gets started. "Hank's Tackle Box" . Great video I don't have as much tackle as you, but I might be able to match you on the rod and reel set ups.
Thanks for sharing your fish cave with us I like how you got it organized, I wanted to tell you I was able to go fishing Saturday it was good to get on the water with all of Chattanooga every boat ramp was full, I caught only 1 but it was a good 1, a 2.84 spot
I think you should dedicate a video for only Hanks tackle box , No-one does that for us before to give us idea to prepare something for our kids(just a taught). Thank you for great clip as always.
Thanks for the 360° behind the scenes peak. Now I really have something to show the wife & sons to counter when they ask "don't you have enough tackle already?" 😜
Outstanding Show. Waiting awhile for this one ! I still believe there are tackle shops with less. Many Thanks Matt. This is now my birthday present !!!
Matt, I love those XCalibur baits and I have a couple dozen lipless and a dozen of the 100 size square bills. I had a 3700 box full of XR50’s stolen from me 3 years ago and it still hurts… I like the Booyah and I have a dozen, but they’re not the same to me. Thanks for sharing your passion ✊🎣
Yeah IM a Wild Turkey 101 kind of guy myself! AND 101 specifically, not the 80 not the rare breed, just something special about that 101. I also wont turn my nose up at George Dickel white label! Awesome set up broesph!
love the basement office/bait room, Matt! Similar to you, when we bought our house the basement was not finished either. I have a room the wife calls “fishing and hunting room“, and I also have a room with all the “drum room“. Rows on the side. Needless to say it’s a man cave for sure. Lol. Really enjoyed the tour. I didn’t see that huge supply ofStefan swimbait heads. haha. i’m sure you have a ton of them, probably all in your boat. God bless!
Thanks for sharing. I’ll take all your Yamamoto soft plastics, regardless of color, age, and or style if you truly don’t use them anymore. $5:00 per bag and $1:00 per bag to the charity of your choice. I cover shipping costs. The crawdads were showing themselves today in the sunny shallow waters here in Washington state, bluegill and bass should be close behind🍻
If your serious contact me through my contact page and I can send you a list of the yamamotos. I need to make some room on the pegboard.www.mattstefanfishing.com/contact
Can you believe it, I have checked today my XR50 and Booyah lipless: Booyah says 1/2 oz on the packaging but weighs like 5/8 in reality like old XR50(difference 0.5 grams), the only difference is the size of the knocker used in them. Thanks for the video.
The ceiling rod storage was a great show! Also great to know your a bourbon drinker as well, the bourbon craze has gotten a bit out of control nowadays. Thanks for the tour and I still use the hot spots I’m a little older so paper is always good.
Thanks for showing us around the man cave to make us all feel better about our tackle addictions. They are right sum things catch fisherman not fish lol.
Really cool tour Matt. I think it's really cool you build your own rods. So many rod company's MH is like a M on other rod companies. Or some MH are more like Heavy's and it just makes Rod shopping that much more difficult.
Hey Mr Stefan I saw a previous video and thanks alot for the upcoming videos your going to do on rod building . I like your man cave . I'm going to pick up a rod building kit from mudhole . Thanks again God bless you and your family your pal fisherman Mike .ps that's alot of fishing baits that's really neat bro .
what really got my attention was that many spinning set up in your arsenal, It says a lot to someone like me that I only have one true spin ing combo for all my bass fishing :). Needless to say I have 11 true baitcasting combo.
Great episode; thanks for sharing. I’m slowly turning my garage bench area into a tackle area. Sort of a blend between yours & Randy B. Good luck at your next tournament!
Your ceiling looks like mine! Yes, well your more organized with the peg board. Mine are all in boxes and or old tackle boxes in the garage. The boat is loaded up and waiting as am I.
Very cool setup Matt but I have to give it Hank, I think he's got ya beat 😉 thanks for sharing, very impressive! I could spend days in a room like that just tinkering with things
I'll take all those speed craws and senkos off your hands to make more room on your wall for you... it's a sacrifice I'm willing to make :-) Been waiting for this one. Nice video. My two boys lose stuff so fast I don't know that I'll ever even fill a draw much less a room.
Matt, this was awesome! Thanks for the tour, I always wondered what was in the “man cave”, now I know! I would love to say it’s similar to mine but I would be lying… lol! Thanks for the tour.
Pretty awesome tackle cave! I would like to know more about your musky tackle! You would be surprised how many of your subs are musky fisherman to, including myself
Wow man you got it all and looks great and awesome ! Wish I had the money and the space to do something like that even though it is small I would love to do that , Great job keep up the great work and videos !!
Pound for pound, nobody has better lures than me....not to brag. My bench is messy as heck. How the hell do you keep them dust free? Lol. Heck yeah to the Xcalibur. Booyah may not be the same internally or plastic-wise. Don't seem to work as well. Off course, you know this. Zoom and Yamamoto rock but i don't use them anymore. Nothing can take their places. Stickbaits are stickbaits, but Yamamotos are Senkos. You really need Cowboys baby! Just went to see Tas Moua's jigs today and tried to call him out in person. He wasn't there, but his jigs are on point to me. Your room is alright. I still think they blow Ike's and KVD's away, just not mine and Crazy Alberto's. Yours have the musky stuff, which is cool. Guess what? I do too and there's no muskies here..lol. Mine has everything...ice fishing to stripers to bass to expensive Japanese stuff to custom to self-built to crappies to trout to worldwide lures to peacock...I don't even think you can find a better or bigger fisherman. Said if I do this, I will have to be the best. I didn't go looking for Tas Moua at his shop today if I didn't mean what I said. If he wants to run one, he should let me know so I don't have to keep looking for him. We can make it happen. I can get my cameraman ready on speed dial. They wanna mock me, well, where are they? I'm looking for them. His MIL was a nice lady nonetheless. KVD can answer in the comment section on his channel. We'll make it happen.
Thank you for the tour. I wasn't disappointed at all. Matt, have you ever done a vid about the different fishing leagues and their levels? I struggle to understand who is who and who fishes in each and for what reasons. Thoughts?
Love the tour, and I remember at Hanks age how I felt about MY tackle box, love his excitement. Fess up tho, where are the chatterbaits and the Ned rig stuff?
Thanks for your time, Matt. Let me ask... Do you have any interest in or can you justify the time to make a Musky fishing video? I would view and approve!
I love seeing all the tackle and rods. And my husband thinks I have too much. Seeing all your stuff got me thinking. We all have a few retired lures we hold on to for the memories. I love how excited he was to show the world his tackle box. His smile is priceless. Matt I love the tour and thanks for letting us into your home.
you bet!
When warm weather comes back you have to make a video of Hank giving us all a bluegill fishing clinic. Looks like he's always full of energy. Fine looking boy.
he slays the bluegill haha!
As the curtain falls away..... Oz is revealed......lol. Hank's box is cool, early memories of that style box when i was that age. Thanks for sharing.
thanks!
I love the fact that your roots let you musky fish, that is on my bucket list!
i love musky fishing!
Thanks for the tour Matt. My lady let's me use a little room off our kitchen. It's much smaller and way less organized! Lol
Sounds great!
I appreciate the tour. Love his tackle box and smile. I catch a lot of bluegills on those little maggot baits too!
Thank you!
Glad you enjoyed
I like the neat storage of rod on the ceiling. I'm gona steal that idea
Go for it!
Enjoyed the tour. My kids all had their own tackle boxes when they were little.
Awesome
The Dream of many anglers !
years of collecting
Hank has an excellent tackle box.
he does
Love the videos, NE Ohio here, I spend most of the winter chasing Musky in the rivers while the lakes are frozen over, thanks for the tips
That is awesome!
Prettiest curtain rods I’ve ever seen. 😍
haha!
Gunna give thumbs up even though no m-cave is complete without the Matt Stefen guppy head
haha! There are a pile of hem hanging all over that room

Cool to hear you talk about bourbon. I also like to collect a drink a few. Everyday drinker is Four Roses single barrel, good wknd is Old Kirk.
Its amazing how the good drinkers are now tougher than heck to get. Weller, Elmer, Blanton's...list goes on and on. I had about 300 bottles but sold about 250 a couple years ago...wish i hadnt at this point
Love my bass lab too. Favorite room in my house. Can't wait for rod building videos.
they are coming!
@@MattStefanFishing after I watch it Matt, I'm going to try to build a rod. Can't wait.
That was cool. It lived up to my expectations! Love seeing Hank excited about his box!!
he loves that box!
Well at least you have a name for Hanks You Tube channel, when he gets started. "Hank's Tackle Box" . Great video I don't have as much tackle as you, but I might be able to match you on the rod and reel set ups.

it really does!
Cool looking inside your set up.
Thanks!
That was pretty great. I really enjoyed seeing the basement tackle shop!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Nice box, Hank!
I think so too!
Would love to see a Hank special. Blue gill tips, maggot rigging tips, set up
he wants to do one too!
I think you should dedicate a video for only Hanks tackle box , No-one does that for us before to give us idea to prepare something for our kids(just a taught). Thank you for great clip as always.
good idea!
Hey Matt……I’d love to see a video on how you rig the Hula grub as well as when, where, and how you fish it. Just a thought….thanks!!
Good idea!
Curtain rod idea! Genius!!
Right?! it works so well
Random bag of bitters soft plastics hanging on the wall. Shout out to my local tackle shop in Orlando, where many paychecks have disappeared.
haha! theres a few more than one bag of bitters on that wall haha
Impressive rod rack and bait wall. More organized than many others of seen on U tube
thanks!
an awesome room to have.
it is!
Been wanting to see this, Matt and Hank
yep!
Thanks for the tour - dug it!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Nice digs! Love your tackle box Hank🤠

Excellent tour Matt. Impressed with the rod collection hanging from the ceiling!

stolen...that stinks!
A Dirty Jig wall that my local tackle shop would be envious of. I think you have more maxscent than they currently have too lol. Awesome room!
got to buy them when you see them
Matt Stefan Fishing I’ve been buying maxscent on eBay. Probably not cost effective but at least I have some.
Great room!! Organized for you is all that matters!! 👍 that is a legit fish catching tackle box!! Awesome!
Thanks 👍
Now that’s what I call a man cave. I have been wanting to see everything you have stashed on the wall. Good luck with the tournament season.
Thanks 👍

That’s a fun tour. I’m working on my tackle wall. I always show my wife the pros walls and say “see I don’t really have that much”
its an investment

Im just saying the box alone indicates they are not the same weight...just sayin
Please could you tell me what you are using to hold the curtain rods up and where i can get them?? I love this idea!!!
I just mounted into the ceiling studs with large screws. The nice thing is its expandable so you can make it bigger or smaller for more or less rods.
Matt whats your favorite Muskie bait fish for mukies in N Y Thank you Matt enjoy the tour. From Ohio.
Im a topwater guy all day! I love a hawg wobble, tally wacker, or creeper
I need to show this to my wife ......😎
haha
I love seeing all the tackle and rods. And my husband thinks I have too much.
Seeing all your stuff got me thinking. We all have a few retired lures we hold on to for the memories. But many of them that don't get lost get tossed when they are damaged. Do you ever repurpose any baits? Melt down plastics into new molds? Modify old lures? Or are there any recycling options out there? I'm just curious what options are out there for used tackle that I might not know of.
THere aresome local kids i give my old plastic too. We also have recycling containers at our tournaments for old plastics.
OMG u make us almost normal.....
thanks!
It would be very interesting to know what are your top five tournament baits
sounds like a good video tip!
