Brother, thanks for sharing this. I live in far Siberia, and we have internet just for couple years. I recently discovered for myself such a amazing music band as Wardruna and now surfing everything about them. Beautiful place, beautiful people, amazing show and awesome birthday present. Helvegen is also my favourite song. I hope one day i will see their live performance
Thanks for posting this! We travelled to Iceland partly to see this concert and it was great - I was wishing I had recorded Einar speaking, so was very happy to find this video!
Hi 👋, I have been listening to a lot of your music and your art and culture is very impressive and you have some amazing scenery. I have been listening to your music for the past month or so and in some of them you’ve got art sculptures around a shore side of a lake I think it was either elk or Deer it was made out of driftwood and I got reply back saying that it had been vandalised which is a great shame keep up the great work I enjoy listening to your music and your culture. Phil from the moulin France. I am English and I am retired English gentleman living in France
Was in Reykjavik in 2016 on a company weekend trip,so i had a little time to explore Reykjavik. We stayed at the Arnarhvoll hotel right across the harpa concert hall. And on the same weekend and a few blocks away Einar of wardruna had a solo concert. Wished i`ve could have seen it there, but i have seen both Wardruna and Einar solo concerts before so wasn`t that bad of a miss really.
@@icelandicvlogger wow, and I thought that wardruna signs in old norse and that the crowd would be singing along in iceland. I was clearly wrong lol!!!
@@sergeipugachov4325 Wardruna sings in both modern Norwegian and Old Norse, but it varies from song to song. Einar mostly writes in Norwegian now. "Helvegen" is in a Norwegian dialect.

Gods what a lucky birthday present! Wardruna is one of the best, my favorite Heathen group along with Daemonia Nymphe.

I did not know Einar already had a solo concert here in Iceland, I really do need to pay more attention 😅😆
Did anyone in the crowd understand any of the lyrics?
I only understood the Hávamál part 😅 Maybe if there were people in the crowd that speak norwegian, but icelanders in general don't
