- You might start to notice a change to the wing tips of some of our Boeing 737-800s over the coming months.
We’ve started the process of installing new split scimitar winglets on 23 of our B737s at our maintenance facility in Brisbane.
Check out how the new wing tips will help us save fuel, reduce carbon emissions, and increase the distances our aircraft can fly.
I thought qantas 737s were going soon… but I guess not! Good idea!
So good Qantas can’t wait to fly these aircraft when I become a pilot in 2031
Look forward to welcoming you to our team 😊

Damn
What are they gonna do with the old winglets
Don't the scimitar singlets cost 180,000 dollars a pair
They'll be confused with the newer model...🤔
When will be the plane be tested?
After someone makes sure there’s no missing bolts.
At least one is already in service
I thought they were just fashion statements but I guess not
How to turn your 737-800 into a 737 max 8
But without the MCAS.
they need change his engine and add mcas to 737 max
Now that we are saving money on fuel, are we lowering the cost of plane tickets boss???
The reasoning for the high ticket prices is not fuel, it’s that demand in the Australian market is high, but not a lot of competition on certain routes. This means that airlines can charge higher prices because they have no one to compete with.
Do an economics class and you’ll know why
This has gone form a plane to an x wing
Melbourne better than Brisbane 🗣🗣🗣🔥🔥🔥✅✅✅📈📈📈🥶🥶🥶👍👍👍🗿🗿🗿
