Sir, amazing to see how your painting on the ppr is progressing..colors are obeying at your command thro your brushes.. Prior to start the painting you keep colours on the tubs of the pallette.. it seems you work with the round brushes of Nos. 8-10 . Is there is any specification for papers and brushes for water color painting? Please guide us the essentials.

Can I ask please? when one uses a brush across different colour palettes doesn't this muddy the palette colour tubs over time? I often wonder about the impact that has on the painting. Should one use different brushes or clean the brush when changing colours? Thank you.

Let it be dirty and chaotic for a while and see what happens. Maybe nuanced and beautiful.. sometimes not. Then you will know from your own experience why and when to use clean colors.

I try to learn from the masters as well. But I think I need to take time and paper and just try things out myself and develop my own sensitivity and approach. Your question got me thinking. Thank you!

You find color and chaos worth painting
But the modern sleek, almost sterile, is where we live. Please link brushes and music. Thanks. San Diego, CA

He probably won't answer that question.....but I think paper is really imp in watercolor even as a beginner.....buy chitrapat which is 100% cotton rough ....and affordable....and start it....and yes he's absolutely right no how high quality material u use ...results can only be seen If ur basics are strong 💪....

I have used both type of paper, general sketch paper from Manorah, and Chitrapath watercolor paper
