Would be good to see some videos of you when you are on with the bits of regular bike maintenance you do to keep it running well

The foil trick will work, but if the fuse went for a reason then using foil may get you back but it could also lead to the wiring loom melting or even catching fire! After all they have a fuse for a reason

Kevin Appleton. Of course. That's why I carry a spare fuse. Just a very temporary tip to get home.

Goodegg yeah I realise that, but my point is that if the fuse has blown there is usually a reason why it's blown, and while the foil will work in the get the electrics on if the reason for the blow out is a wiring short it could have serious consequences, I will however conceded that if say the head light bulb goes and pops the fuse for example, then yeah the foil trick will work fine, I just wanted to point out to those young people who see the video and think oh yeah that's cool that it can sometimes be a bad idea 🤗

Kevin Appleton That's fine mate, I understood the broader point of your original comment. I will add it in the description as a warning. But Yes, that is when the fuse had blown a couple times on this bike because of a dodgy headlight bulb.
Thank you for your insight. Cheers.

Hey man, I watched all your videos before deciding to get this bike myself, loving it! However I've ran into an issue as I haven't been able to find a user manual. I was simply wondering what kind of oil did you use for the bike? It's going to need a change soon so though id ask before its urgent.
Thanks a lot and your videos were very useful :D

ItsTheGreenBin Hi. The manual I got with the bike recomends SAE10W-30. You could use SAE10W-40 for a bit more protection from heat in the summer, though how much diff it makes I'm not sure. Costs about £10-12 for a 1 litre known brand. I'd replace the oil filter at same time too, I got the "Hiflo" one, about £6 on eBay. If you need a manual I'd recommend the Haynes Suzuki GS,GN,GZ & DR 125 (1982 to 2005) it mostly covers all these Chinese re-styled bikes the Sinnis Cafe is basically a Suzuki Gn 125. Thanks & enjoy the cafe, ride safe.

Thanks for this, it helps me so much. Been looking around for this information for a while! I'll definitely pick that book up also as I'm sure it will help with issues in the future.

cool thanks for the upload and information, im really enjoying the bike also , did you do something to your stand to enable you to start the bike with it down, i think i will try and get a spare fuse and bulbs just in case also.

Keith green No problem mate. I unplugged the side stand switch cable, It's hidden behind the side pannel. Good to hear you are enjoying the cafe.

Alright mate, just bought my self a second hand sinnis cafe. Wicked bike, however the head light is dodgy and keeps cutting out on me. Had a fiddle about with it n it seems to come on very temperamentally. Got any suggestions?

Hi. I can only suggest checking for loose connections and try a bit of wd40 to dispel any moisture in them. Check the bulb and bulb socket to make sure its seated properly. Maybe the source of the problem is the light switch?, spray some wd40 inside it too. Good luck with the bike.

Goodegg thanks for getting back to me mate your a pro! Anyways I think might swap the whole light out for one that’s better quality, change the connectors to some proper quality ones and see how I get on from there!

Also does your have a back light or just a break light like mine?

@@joshuabedford997 Good idea that mate. Some of the LED lights are sound good and should be brighter on those dark winter roads too.

take the egr off, better for the bike and looks better without it, blanking off kits are sold on the sinnis, herald etc facebook page

simon carman Thanks for the tip. Any performance enhanements would be very welcomed.

theres no perfomance really, but it stops dirty air from the engine been recirculated back into the airbox etc, also looks better without it and horn can be re located to the side, making the bike having a cleaner look, think the bike runs better but no gain in speed etc

other than that change front and rear sprocket, decent chain, maybe a after market pipe, these are not fast bikes anyway, old gn spec

simon carman Thanks again. I've been reading up on it & there seems to be no negative side effects of removing the EGR.

most owners on our page have removed the egr with no effect at all, it was only for the emissions anyway, blanking off kits are £11 and takes 10 mins at most to remove
