    This is also an allegory of the last 7 years of this age. The first 6 trumpets sound each day (1 year each), then on that 7th day (7th year) the 7 vials are poured out in in quick succession. The last trumpet ends, the earth shakes, the cities of the nations fall and burn, and the righteous take possession. The end. 😊

    They blew horns at the frequency of the walls and shook them down. Remember the dancing suspension bridge? Frequency, vibration

    • @adearthical
      @adearthical 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Unlikely. The resonant frequency of a wall along its vertical axis is one divided by the wavelength at the asymptotes. Around 1Hz. The Shofar has a typical fundamental arount 376Hz a little bit higher than an F#. Keep in mind that no Shofar is alike, so there can be no strong amplitude multiplication by adding elements. Thus the energy available to vibrate the wall at the frequency most able to motivate it was several orders of magnitude less than the strongest acoustic pressure at the foci of the array of horns as presented by the Isrealites. In other words, I'm afraid it's clear you don't have the faintest clue as to what you are talking about, and I thus strongly advise you to shut the fuck up.

    • @armyinfantry11b

      @@adearthical they were instructed by God to encircle the city and blow their horns. God made the walls tumble, not frequency.

    • @Unboundpuppet
      @Unboundpuppet ปีที่แล้ว

      @@armyinfantry11b
      No. God and His angels often gave specific material instructions to the Israelites on how to affect things physically using the laws of reality which God established. God did not directly intervene except in a few cases, such as the plagues of Egypt. Frequency and resonance brought down the walls, and God told us how to do it.
      The walls took repeated blasts of sound to weaken the structure, loosening stone and crumbling mortar until it collapsed.
      This idea that God directly does everything is antithetical to the doctrine of free will and is an Evangelical con artist created dogma.
      There’s other Biblical examples of horns specifically being weapons. Angels using them to wipe out armies and cities using sound, but this capability hasn’t been fully given to human beings. The Bible tells us that sound may be the most powerful ranged weapon, and angels would be equipped with a sword and a horn.

    • @Unboundpuppet
      @Unboundpuppet ปีที่แล้ว

      @@armyinfantry11b
      Also there’s a clear reason humans do not have the full capability of sound, angels in Revelations are described blowing horns which will level mountain ranges and cause the sky to retract like a scroll just by using sound. This isn’t technology humans are ready for. It’s given in varying strengths to the ranks of Heaven to be used at specific points in this story, which has already been written. Think of how destructive a nuclear blasts sonic boom is. Now imagine just the sound basically resetting the universe. Humans don’t need that any time soon.

    Kathleen Kenyan found everything that backs the Joshua story. Fallen mud brick walls, jars full of barley (meaning a short siege amongst other things). Evidence of a massive fire, even pottery, which she didn't bother to date or ignored outright. What she didn't find was Cypriot pottery, which she 'assumed' should have been there. So because of this one 'supposed' missing evidence, she concluded the date of the destruction before Joshua and the Israelites were there. So as in the case many times repeated by dubious secular archaeologists, they dismiss 99% of the evidence, and find or make up 1% to refute the 99% and the truth.

      Yeah because earthquakes have never knocked things down or started fires. Certainly, no wall has ever collaped due to natural weathering over time. No, the only logical explanation for a fallen mud wall has to be divine intervention. You're the one ignoring 99% of alternative explanations and using 1% preconceived notions to refute the truth.

    • @Flagrum3
      @Flagrum3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@apollofell3925 The walls all fell 'outwards' all around the circumference of the site. Explain how an earthquake would accomplish that feat. If the walls had fallen every which way, it would easily be concluded it was an earth quake, but they didn't, as discovered by all archaeological digs, including Kenyon's.
      As for ignoring; No I am not ignoring anything and there is only two explanations for what happened at Jericho. No preconceived notions here, just facts from careful study. Be honest; How deeply have you studied the evidence?

    • @apollofell3925
      @apollofell3925 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@Flagrum3 Let's think about this logically. Obviously the mud walls wouldn't fall inward against the stone walls they were propped up against for support. They also wouldn't collapse to the side, or obliquely, that's not how tall objects with rectangular bases fall. Look up some indoor videos of earthquakes, you'll notice any bookshelf up against a wall will always fall directly away from that wall, not paralell to it.
      Let's be honest, you're not an archeological expert, and you haven't deeply considered the evidence - you just watched a TH-cam video from a guy who confirmed your preconceived beliefs about a religious Abrahamic text, and stopped your "careful study" there. The Wikipedia article for the Battle of Jericho literally states, "Excavations at Tell es-Sultan, the biblical Jericho, have failed to substantiate this story, which has its origins in the nationalist propaganda of much later kings of Judah and their claims to the territory of the Kingdom of Israel."

    While the evidence suggests the siege/falling of the walls happened at the time proposed in the book of Joshua, you failed to cover that, simply, the concept of yelling at a wall of that graduate really loudly and making it fall is seemingly impossible. Jericho is located on the Dead Sea Transform/Dead Sea Rift, making it much more likely an earthquake was the cause of the initial falling of the walls that allowed the Israelites to attack. Again, not saying you’re wrong about the time in which the events take place, but to not disprove or mention that the seemingly obvious fact that the wall was not destroyed by shouting and loud noises leads me to critique your reporting here. The rest of the video is good and informational.

    How much faith the Israelites led by their commander Joshua had on that day! Without throwing a single stone or an arrow, they just obeyed God's instructions. So, God's powerful hands destroyed the huge Jericho city walls. We must listen to Jesus and obey him like that today. He will give us victory over sin & evil.

How did Noah fit over 33,000 animals on a boat smaller than an aircraft carrier? How did they clean up that much poop without dying from methane poisoning in less than a week? What did the carnivores eat for a year? Why didn't the ancient Chinese, aborigines, or Aztecs notice the global flood? They all survived... How did Jonah survive 3 days in the stomach acid of a whale, without oxygen to breathe? Nevermind that no whale or fish is capable of swallowing a human whole. Infallible?! Nope. No it’s not, the Palestinian Territories are a separate entity from the State of Israel, and they’re in no way part of the modern day country of Israel under international law due to the Armistice Agreements of 1949. Palestine is not like Hong Kong or Kurdistan, which are separate regions in China and Iraq but they’re one entity. Palestine is officially separate, and the State of Palestine is recognised as an independent country by over 70% of countries, and it’s an official member of the UN and many other international forums e.g. the International Olympic Committee, the FIFA Council etc. They officially operate separately from Israel, and where you might see labels such as “Hong Kong, China” or Iraqi Kurdistan”, you’d never see “Palestine, Israel” because they’re separate. The more accurate description would be that the Palestinian Territories are under illegal Israeli occupation. However, Jericho is still part of the Palestinian Territories, which is not part of the geographical boundary of modern day Israel; that boundary does not include the West Bank.

      But Jericho was straitly shut: "none went out, and none came in" (Joshua 6. 1). The Lord (Sun) however, gave it into Joshua's hands. Seven priests (seven summer constellations) were appointed to bear as many trumpets of rams' horns (Aries during each of these seven months) about the devoted city (lunar month). These rams' horns the priests tooted about the city every day (month) for six days (months). On the seventh day (month) they compassed the city seven times, tooting their rams' horns as they went, i.e., they recalled all the summer months to view (feast of tabernacles, or of the ingathering) in that one month, when the city (summer) fell down flat, and the people at the command of Joshua, shouted " Amen (Oh, Ram), glory to the Ram,” as he went down in the west.
      All that was in the city was utterly destroyed, save Rahab (or Virgo, which became a day constellation), whom notwithstanding her slip of chastity, Joshua saved alive with all her household, and all that she had, and she dwelleth in Israel (i.e., she is one of the four constellations of summer) unto this day (6.25). Thus, perished Jericho, or the lunar month, and the calendar month of 30 days being firmly established, the year consisted of 360 days.
