But i learned that i must adapt to understand their culture and personality. Till now never watched any Nellywood movie. But i prefer the Jollof not to be spicy. I wonder don't you guys still have traditional/ incestoral worship? I need to know more than this video was quite informative
Do you know there's North east in Nigeria? and there's South east in Nigeria too? So when he says South, is not referring to South south. We have majorly Northern and Southern Nigeria, before you talk about the regions.......
These are only the popular tribes , there are over 250 tribes in nigeria and over 500 languages . Northern nigeria probably has over 100 tribes including Hausa and Fulani , same as the other regions
Well im black american and my family traced their roots to the yoruba tribe and how coincidential nigeria came up on my ancestry dna test results very high percentage too like 25%
Nigeria has about 500 languages and ethnic groups and there are 3 religions- Christians, Muslims and traditional religions. There are Muslims in the south too esp South West area among some Yorubas- there are Christians also in the North particularly among the indigenous people who lived in the region before the jihad by Uthman Dan Fodio, a Fulani from Futa Djalon in the 19th century who converted a lot of the people by force to Islam. You got most of the other facts right tho
Lagos is a must visit for anyone visiting Nigeria. Then abuja the capital city. Port harcourt, Calabar, uyo, enugu is very nice. There are others as well
You being from the kanuri in your ancestry DNA , then i will suggest you visit Borno State in Nigeria , that's were you will find large number of kanuri tribes. They are one of the most civilized tribes , they are in possession of the most beautiful women in Nigeria. 😊
Nice video! Thank you! I like your channel. Africa is so beautifull and divers and yet so unknown to Europeans. Do you have any nollywood titles of movies on netflix? I would love to watch those 😉🥰 Love from The Netherlands!
I respect and love❤ nigeria because god bless me with a honest, christian, trustworthy, loving boyfriend from nigeria who is yoruba. And he makes me feel like a nigerian queen👑even though i'm New Zealand🇳🇿🇨🇰🌺🌹 Cook Island
3:01 The northern part of Nigeria is much more diverse than that . Even though the larger percentage are Muslim, there is also a large percentage of Christian’s . States like Kaduna state which is one of the largest in the north is split about 50/50 between Christian’s and Muslims , same as Adamawa , Taraba , and states like Gombe , etc have large percentage of Christian’s even though Muslims might be more . So it’s not what it seems like and also if you will add the middle belt / north central including Jos , Benue , Nasarawa then you will find that the North is the most diverse part of Nigeria
The Igbos are from South East, Yorubas are South West, Niger Deltans are from South South, while Hausa/Fulani are from Northern Part of Nigeria. Nigeria has over 500 tribes.

Nigeria has well over 1000 languages and dialects.
No. 450 in all actually
@@dermotwallace5533 1000 including dialects.
Nigeria has about 500 languages and ethnic groups and there are 3 religions- Christians, Muslims and traditional religions. There are Muslims in the south too esp South West area among some Yorubas-
there are Christians also in the North particularly among the indigenous people who lived in the region before the jihad by Uthman Dan Fodio, a Fulani from Futa Djalon in the 19th century who converted a lot of the people by force to Islam.
You got most of the other facts right tho
A lot of the blacks from the diaspora are from around Nigeria
S o true
I traced my dna to the Kanari people of Nigeria. I live in America and want to plan a trip there. What areas do you think I should visit?
I would love to watch those 😉🥰

Point of correction, Nigerian population was 220 million as at the time you did this podcast three years ago. It’s more than 230 million now in 2024.😊
The leaders ruling my country has killed it bro..
Point of corrections, NIGERIA is number 7 in the world with a largest population of over 200 millions people's
Not correct. Over 250 million population.
Point of correction, the population of Nigeria 🇳🇬 is more than five hundred million.❤ And have more six ethnic groups.❤
How do you reach out, search to know the family from your dna? Thank you.
Point of correction 211 millions plus not 100 millions 🇳🇬
We are over 525 languages
