This was really fun to watch. Ok, couple things regarding the shitshow that was your kayak fishing: Car topping an Outback by yourself is crazy. If you do, you MUST strip it to the hull to reduce weight. No seat, no depth finder, nothing. NEVER launch without a paddle. If you’re out there and the wind’s off shore and your drive breaks, you’re screwed. Launch with it and drop your drive in when in deeper water. And where’s the pfd? But you rallied because you’re such a great fisherman and harvested 2 nice catfish and had a wonderful dinner. Such an awesome overnight!
I'm going to make 2 suggestions. Buy the Hobie cart wheels and the turbo fin kit. The fins are an easy fix. The wheels make it easier to get to and from the lake.
Berley Pro makes a ez loader for truck topping a big Kayak. Also, Hobie makes a scupper cart. With your situation, those two are essential. Also, in Colorado. You probably want something other than a Hobie. Take a look at a Cresent Shoalie, Bonifide RVR or a Wilderness systems Atak 12.
Most new campers like yours have a light option to put a weird blue color that intensity wise makes it hard for bugs to detect. Sometimes I like to bring a single solar light to stake out away from the site to draw bugs away. Otherwise bugs don't like amber lights so like yellow, pink, or orange in color because they range in the 590-600 nanometer range and the other spectrum of light they like white to bright blue is 450 nanometers or less.
Cooking pro tip...use clarified butter or ghee for your sautéing. It's shelf stable, so it doesn't have to be refrigerated and it has a higher smoke point so it won't burn. You can finish your dish with a dab of regular butter to it give it some richness.
I think it’s time someone did an actual challenge and did this for a week. Anyone can go 24 hrs. LFG this is not a knock on you. This is what everyone does. Would be great to see a video with your excellent high quality production of a true challenge.
🔥🔥🔥🔥 episode Brother!! Can’t wait for the up coming camper series 🫡. Great 24 hour glampping episode, lol that’s exactly my cup-o-tea. And nice hack with the reaching stick. I’m 47 and I thought that was super CLUTCH 😉👌. Cheers with a frosty adult beverage Sir Rackley
LOL the racoons are like we are not sharing this diaper. That one had a treat with a side of corn in it. Love that you admitted to eating a racoon and are thoroughly disgusted. Hey that's why they call them trash pandas 🐼.
I am so impressed with this camper. Can't wait for y'all's Colorado vids. Kayak fishing was interesting, but as always you did good. Sorry the fin broke and fell off. Great video seeing all the ins and outs of camping, fishing alone. I loved that show btw. ~ Texas
You should look into a kayak lifting assist. Rhino makes a hitch bar with a roller to assist sliding onto your roof rack. I think the Thule version the hulavator is better it has arm assemblies that attach to your roof rack and slides out to the side of your vehicle and extends out and over the side of your vehicle so you can place the kayak to do your tie down securing at height level. Then click a button and it will retract back to your roof rack and lock in place. This way you can pull your kayak out in a pinch and no worries if you have a camper hooked up in your path.
That is the worst conditions for fishing, and then all else fails. When it rains it pours. I have had many fishing trip like this one. But it still beat going to work for the day.
Next time bring a paddle with you also, it will help you launch and land in the shallows, saving a lot of wear and tear on your pedal drive, just put the drive in when it’s deeper. You also get the benefit of an insurance policy in case your drive fails completely. I was holding my breath the whole time you were out there with one fin!
9:50 into this and I'm watching you take the yak down and saying, "I can but it's probably going to kill me", then looking at the fact you gotta bring it back up. Bro THAT'S what will kill you. Thanks for the videos. Your channel is one of my favorites on all of TH-cam!
Thanks for putting these vids out. They motivate me to get out there again, despite the heat. Also, I need to get me a camping setup similar to yours, it would make trips down to the coast so much better.
"Such a fan of the jugs" LFG and I concur I'm actually a big fan. This whole vid was indeed outdoor greatness. It would be a real treat to camp with Rackley. Dude is gassed for the Great Oudoors. 👍
All that brother you may want to invest into some wheels for that kayak. HOBIE makes beach wheels. Everything Kayak and Bicycle has a huge selection on there website. It will save your back. They do spine repairs also 😂
I concur that's the kinda shit that happens in the great outdoors. LFG's commentary is entertaining AF in this one. He is hyped on this trip. Actually the last few vids have been have been better than par.
Man I just love your vids. I love the content you always push out. You are very knowledgeable and I have learned a lot. Wish you and your family onmy happiness and blessings. GOD bless
A tip for the rack. I have a canoe. I put a piece of pvc pipe about 2” with washers on both sides and bolted it to rear of rack. It keeps the canoe from sliding off sideways when loading or unloading.
Need to get ya a set of wheels for your yak, makes things 10x times easier, i have a set for my titan.. best thing ever.. Great video LFG!! keep them coming brother!
Love to see you have a Hobie Pro Angler. You need to get yourself a BerleyPro Will-I Loader to help load on the truck and their Kimmi Cart to pull it around.
I bought a camper from the 80's for $1,500 same size as this and the AC worked! And it had a propane powered fridge, water heater, and stove that all worked too. Had to put a new floor in it though. I always carry a cheap little window unit AC as a spare, it's also nice for throwing in a tent down at the trout parks here in MO. Can pick them up used for like $50 on Craigslist when people upgrade to a bigger one cause they bought the cheapest small one for their whole apartment.
Hey LFG, them Blu cats are good but the flathead are better, in my opinion. And them kayak fins can be replaced with a motor kinda like a trolling motor.
I laughed so hard with the face you made when you tried that catfish hahahaha I don’t know what I would do without this channel and bamabass. Great stuff all the time LFG
Can we get another New Zealand trip or Elk hunt... Maybe a 1-1,000,000 Kodiak bear hunt.. or an antarctic trip... I know I'm asking alot but New Zealand was epic
LFG - please invest in a life jacket - we want videos for many years to come. As a yak fisherman who has flipped my kayak, I can speak from experience that it was a life saver.
Love your videos man all of them can’t wait to see what you have for hunting season. Been flowing you and the whole googan squad and y’all’s channel me from the beginning keep up the hard work(ps my wife ask me why I sniff the bass I catch I just say it’s LFG way)
you can get it on/off truck easier... get 2 pulleys...and just park in between 2 trees... pully front and back and just pull truck out to unload or under to load... prob could do it with just rope and carabiners
Lol kayak fishing is a different world my friend I been kayak fishing for 8 years now I love it I bought a boat and I realized its not for me I have bad luck with boats 😅
Absolutely love my hobbie In the video you say you’ve never tipped yours. I hadn’t until last year. Dropped two rods to the bottom at about 21 feet. a St Croix legend Xtreme with a shimano currado DC And another one with a St Croix legend X with a Shimano SLX DC XT. I had 3 other rods in the kayak all of them worth about half of the ones that actually fell out. Had a scuba diver come out and he found both luckily. Wasn't until about a week after I'd dropped them though.
Get some cheep coffee put a little in a tin can on top of a piece of paper towel then light it up, it will burn slowly, rids off bugs arround camp, try it
I enjoyed the ominous hip-hop music that was playing while unloading the kayak 🔥
Lets all give this video a thumbs up so my man can get a new pedal drive... or maybe a motor drive with spot lock!

I like these survival videos. Great job pivoting when faced with challenges.
I love how u show the real struggles of filming and documenting on your own!

When you have a wife and kids it's hard to do
Go for it...
There's a ton of great quality survival challenge vidjas on the youtoobs. Would I love to see LFG make a week long one? Absolutely!

@hobie get this man a new pedal drive! Lol, another awesome video man. 👍🏻👍🏻

Man there are so many TH-cam fishermen to chose from but you are prime !

Fun stuff! Sorry for your kayak problems. The dinner looked great! Beautiful camper and set up. You guys are truly blessed.
God bless all here.
Brother i totally thought you said something different at 22:39 😂😂😂😂😂
They make little axles you can strap to the back of your kayak so you can pull them like a trailer. Probably be pretty easy to make one. 🙂
All I can think when you’re getting that kayak off was ‘damn he’s gunna have to take it all the way back up the hill’
It's good you showed your struggles most fishing shows won't nice job
Little wind break while getting off the yak💨😂😂
9:50 into this and I'm watching you take the yak down and saying, "I can but it's probably going to kill me", then looking at the fact you gotta bring it back up. Bro THAT'S what will kill you. Thanks for the videos. Your channel is one of my favorites on all of TH-cam!
Great video! Really showed what a Hobie could do with one flipper in heavy wind.
LFG's reaction when eating reminded me of Richard Gene if you've ever seen his videos
I knew they’d be somebody else that saw that resemblance and commented on it! Well done!!
Thanks for putting these vids out. They motivate me to get out there again, despite the heat. Also, I need to get me a camping setup similar to yours, it would make trips down to the coast so much better.

Dolly for the yak for sure, figure out some kind of block and tackle set up to assist in loading. Enjoy our Colorado hunting and fishing!
Lfg if u ever come to Eastland tx. Lake Leon or lake Cisco I would love to camp with u ol son
One of my favorite episodes ever. I really enjoyed every minute. Thank You LFG!!!
Love the rig! Maybe get a spare drive for the kayak and keep it in the truck(or a full paddle). Fish looked amazing!
All that brother you may want to invest into some wheels for that kayak. HOBIE makes beach wheels. Everything Kayak and Bicycle has a huge selection on there website. It will save your back. They do spine repairs also 😂
Another Great Video my friend keep em coming !
Really enjoyed this video little comical, and a lot realistic on the filming part … great video 🔥🔥🔥
GOD bless
You sir are crazy to be out on that yak with no PFD...especially in those conditions with one fin! LOL
I watch all your stuff. This is something I really enjoyed and hope you do more of these.
Love these camping and eat what you harvest vids!
You got like a McGee and Me thing goin on at the start of this
Who makes those red totes with the clear lids in the back of your truck? They look pretty sturdy. I’ve been looking for some like that.
got to get those wheels to help solo move that kayak. great video love the fishing. Always miss these LFG videos.
Gotta have that kayak wheel cart LFG come on lol 😂 💯
Long time fan! Love these type of vids! Keep em coming!
Was waiting for something cool to happen, thankfully I FF through most of it because nothing did.
Love watching Lfg enjoy every minute of his time!
Half a drive and half a paddle, my God man, the struggle is real.
Boys and girls, LFG😅. We ladies love your channel tomorrow. Not just me.
Love the channel I’m get more in to this than I I ever thought I would
Did you find a rice patty field in Texas 😂😂😂
Just kidding, great video!
Definitely get a paddle to keep on your kayak at ALL TIMES.... just in case lol stay safe love the videos ❤
What a bummer breaking the pedal on the first launch! Those jugs were doing work though. Your camper set up is top notch man. Excellent stuff LFG!
Love to see you have a Hobie Pro Angler. You need to get yourself a BerleyPro Will-I Loader to help load on the truck and their Kimmi Cart to pull it around.
Great job wish I was there
You need some yak wheels! Amazing video as always!
That's like a 60k camper atleast and you didn't expect the ac to work🤯.
I bought a camper from the 80's for $1,500 same size as this and the AC worked! And it had a propane powered fridge, water heater, and stove that all worked too. Had to put a new floor in it though. You need to make you a wheel kit for that yak. Make a good video as well. Good luck getting Hobie to stand behind their stuff. Great video!
go away scammer.@LakeForkGuy_
LFG they make yak carts & yak wheel kits . You should invest in they make life so much easier to launch and move a yak .
That feel free wheel in the keel is nice! Big fan of mine
WISH ME LUCK!!! I’m watching along with the cat rods out.. lfg drops so either way it’s a win!!!!
Sometimes I’m glad I can only afford a $250 35lb kayak😂 loading and unloading with one arm is nice🤷🏻♂️
Googan kayak wheels coming soon
Watching LFG use them big muscles lol ofg loved it last episode.
Hey LFG, them Blu cats are good but the flathead are better, in my opinion. And them kayak fins can be replaced with a motor kinda like a trolling motor.
You make everything you do extra special and interesting
I laughed so hard with the face you made when you tried that catfish hahahaha I don’t know what I would do without this channel and bamabass. Great stuff all the time LFG
A man of mans..and a fellow lover of jugs. Fishing jugs are pretty cool too.
Blues are pretty darn tasty, great video LFG!!
Love your channel keep up the great work
would love to have you up here in Wyoming and take you fly fishing up in the Rockies
Dig the content man. LFG! L.F.G.
Looks like it’s time to invest in the kayak trolley
For future kayak adventures bring some small roll dollies from the garage and you can wheel is around
Get yourself some orange or red lights or covers it will help with the flying bugs…. PS most headlamps have a red light option built in
Can we get another New Zealand trip or Elk hunt...
Awesome Video ! Huge Fan ! PLEASE Keep the videos coming !!!
There's some diy videos on how to build a rack assist for kayaks with your truck camper.
Gar are actually very good, but I wouldn't eat one that was already dead on the surface
Nice work!
Awesome looking dinner bro. My mama used to cook okra like that. Looks delish! Bone appetite!!!
Fun Video - put a winch on that truck then just winch the kayak back up. You could even use it to winch the kayak back on top of the truck.
Love your videos man all of them can’t wait to see what you have for hunting season. Been flowing you and the whole googan squad and y’all’s channel me from the beginning keep up the hard work(ps my wife ask me why I sniff the bass I catch I just say it’s LFG way)
Gotta have the sauce! Anything with habanero is money.
Good work dealing with the busted kayak.
Can you do a review on your trailer? Like how long the battery last on a trip, with ac on fridge and everything else?
Dang LFG! Get a Hobie cart for at least some of that! They are heavy and awkward yaks for sure, but the absolute best on the water!
you can get it on/off truck easier... get 2 pulleys...and just park in between 2 trees... pully front and back and just pull truck out to unload or under to load... prob could do it with just rope and carabiners
Love to see you got a hobie pro angler
Lol kayak fishing is a different world my friend I been kayak fishing for 8 years now I love it I bought a boat and I realized its not for me I have bad luck with boats 😅
Can’t wait to see the Colorado videos

Absolutely love my hobbie
In the video you say you’ve never tipped yours.
