Even though you can buy and use Apprentice XP Scrolls, they don't seem to give XP buff until you actually reach Apprentice level. 2. The effect of elixirs for artisan skills lasts for 60 minutes. 3. Journeyman Level Vendor sells food and elixirs for his artisan skill. 4. Alternative, but more expensive way to powerlevel scribing is crafting Guild Creation Scrolls: they requie only 1 Red Ink, but also 1 Mayoral Guild Seal which costs around 16s. 5. Crafting Novice Lumberjacking Survey Pylon is no longer the best way to powerlevel Arcane Engineering after "Excavation Kits" have been added to the game: ashescodex.com/db/item/Consumable_TreasureMap_ExcavationKit
Hmm I hope the GMs that Intrepid Studios hires will be active in banning bots. The number of materials required for crafting is lucrative enough for gold sellers and Botters.
Note about Scribing. Another way of leveling it from 1 to 10 exists that is less material intensive, but more gold intensive. A Guild Creation Scroll requires only 1 Red Ink, unlike most other scrolls that cost 5. It also requires a Mayoral Guild Seal which is a vendor item, but it costs around 16 silver (depending on taxes). If you can get a lot of gold from glint, caravans, or other means, it may be worthwhile supplementing your regular buff scrolls leveling with guild scrolls. I found 5 inks vs. 1 noticeable, even if my guild mates kept feeding me rubies.
I've considered that option too, but the thing is... if you want to spend 16s for seal per craft, it makes more sense just to buy rubies in bulk which is usually gonna be cheaper. But in general - yeah, that's an option as well
I think you can buy recipes at the vendors close to the crafting stations - might first be when they hit level 2 (stations). I bought the recipe for gloves I think - for armor smithing - and they give more exp for the same materials. :)
You can buy some othe beginner recipes from vendors right away and a few more recipes appear upon build T2 stations. Which gloves are you talking about, T1 or T2?
Hmm how much base XP does ruby necklace give? I saw it, but 6 Zinc for Zinc Jewelry is kind of better than 6 rubies + 1 copper, unless Ruby Necklace really gives more XP
So if i have a brass spellbook recipe i need to spend 800 zinc etc to level my arcane engi skill to learn it. And a tier 2 crafting station. But Tin and Iron spellbooks are already in my artisans learnt list by default so I only need a next tier craft statuion to craft a better spellbook?

@@FlankerAOC Just the T1 gloves - 2 zinc and grem skin and basalt armor mold iirc. All I made more or less to get to level 10.
@@Angstskrig1976 hm, how much base XP did you get for them?
Would have loved some info in regards to how rarity works during crafting and stat allocation based on materials. Maybe next video :D
I couldn't add that part in the video because crafting rarity was bugged and we expect a fix this weekend
@@FlankerAOC makes sense :D well got a reason to come back for the next dose of info :D
@@rumyelfrostfire9273 haha more guides are coming soon!
you wanna level JC on the ruby necklace recipe, its a world drop, 6 rubies > 6 copper and gives more xp

Correct
Is there a section for the alchemy profession?
Alchemy is not crafting, alchemy is processing, so you should check out the processing guide
Guild just told me to watch videos! ❤
Haha awesome, hope the video will be helpful
