Its good to see Shark finally addressing the ridiculously weak prongs on the previous models helmets. However not a fan of the central lifting tab and also the pivot point tabbed spindle on the visor looks like another point of weakness on this latest visor design.
That's a Nolan N100-5 in Hilltop Glossy Black/Yellow. It's a discontinued model and colourscheme, but you can see the old product listing here if you're interested... www.sportsbikeshop.co.uk/motorcycle_parts/content_prod/583411 Cheers, Tony
I actually like this helmet, but the removal of the sun visor is too difficult at least at my helmet. I NEED some tool to remove the retract mechanism otherwise the knob won't come off. I think this should be tool less on every case.
Agreed, it can be pretty awkward. I've had good results from using the top of a lid from a cheap ballpoint pen to push the tab out of the hook on top of the sun visor. It's probably overkill if you're not doing this job very often, but a plastic pick designed for removing O-rings is ideal... simplybearings.co.uk/shop/product_info.php?products_id=153030 Cheers, Tony
