    Was hoping to see some attention to the pinion/yoke seal. My '68 Satellite started to leak in the garage. Evidently the 7.25 rear end utilizes that "collapsible spacer". Oh well, at least i know what cover gasket i need. Your differential turned out great btw!👍

    I have this rear end in my 56 Ford F100 and I would like to have posi-traction. Can you tell me if it is possible to convert the existing rear to posi and what is involved in doing so? Thanks!

    Where did you get axle bearing collar I'm doing this to my 7 1/4 I got the big bolt pattern.

      I got it from a Differential shop, called J&S in Huntington Beach, Ca.

      It's the original plate that I had chromed.

    Why didn't you mention anything about the spider gears

      The spider gear set is the part that allows one wheel to spin faster than the other. But repairing it is beyond my knowledge.

    how much did it cost ya to get the rear cover chromed and how long ago ? I got a 65 valiant I want have the 7.25 cover chromed .check out my youtube channel
