Hi Tom, I received the Ninja Foodi as a gift on yesterday and just wanted to let you know how easy it is to follow your instructions. I appreciate your video and look forward to seeing more from you. I am cooking pot roast and will be making some mashed potatoes shortly. 😊

Came across your video how to cook potatoes in the Foodi to make mashed potatoes. Thanks for sharing your way of making them. Am curious, what brand of mixer do you have that has rubber on the mixing paddles? I would like one of those. Thanks.

Thank you for this video. But what if I need to cook more potatoes - do I need to add more liquid? Is there some kind of ratio I need to follow?

You have given me a great idea. While the potatoes are cooking in the pressure cooker, I will make a dressing. Then add the dressing when mashing the potatoes. Potato Salad in 8 minutes. Because it only takes 8 minutes, I can prepare this in the morning before work and refrigerate for dinner. Thanks!!

COOKING TIP... For Baked potatoes... after it is cooked, BEFORE you cut it open, if you like a Fluffy potato, that you don't have to scrap & mash after you open it. Put it on a flat surface, put you finger/hand on it and Gently apply a little pressure & ROLL back & forth for several seconds ! You'll feel the potato breaking free & softening up! Now simply cut it open, add whatever you want in it..[Remember NEVER COLD! warm in microwave, or OK if it's @ room temperature. Eat, Bless it & Enjoy!!! :)

Order an extra pot from Ninja to use instead of another Foodi. That way you can cook something and cover it to keep warm while you cook something else in the other pot. Love to watch your videos, you eat the things I would eat. Thank you.

Just wondered why you didn't use the liquid you cooked with to mash the potatoes. Great video 👍

Add a egg to your leftover mashed potatoes after they are in the fridge all night put on a little butter make patties out of them and air fry.

NEVER put your cold butter & heavy cream in COLD! Warm in your microwave for 30 sec so it's melted & warm so it Blends & doesn't cool off your potatoes. Makes a world of difference! [Best is to use a "ricer", not a masher, then wisk]! Then you'll have great creamy/fluffy mashed potatoes........... class dismissed!

@Tony Penachio --- A ricer is not necessary nor is it necessarily the best tool. If the potatoes are completely tender a masher works perfectly well. He could also use the 'keep warm' feature and put the butter and cream in to warm although the microwave would be quicker.
      You're welcome.
