    My M&P 2.0 Compact came stocked with an average 4.9 lb trigger pull using Wheeler trigger gauge . M&P 2.0 has metal in the frame to prevent pig nose and prevent dropping of your light and laser. All have their pros and cons, all are excellent pistols and it's one preference.
    Tried them all and carry what you shoot best.

    I have the p320 m17, the m&p2.0 compact and the full-size 2.0 optics ready in 9mm, and the Glock 45. I like all of them. All shoot well and are stone cold reliable. If I had to pick only one of them to keep, fortunately I don’t need to, but I would probably take the m&ps.

  • @red2977
    @red2977 2 ปีที่แล้ว +4

    When lookin for my first gun I tried all three of these. The p320 came out pretty far ahead. Better trigger than the glock and the M&P, better ergonomics on the p320, the sights on the p320 were way way better than what the glock offered. Found the glock harder to shoot and I think the issue was the long takeup in the trigger. Preferred the glock 45 over the 17. The glock would probably be my second choice. S&W 2.0 wasn't a bad pistol but did not like hinged trigger at all. With the glock I could do some modifications to get it where I want, but with the p320 out of the box I could just start shooting and it is very modular so I could easily change it up and create a whole new firearm setup making it very versatile.

      "better ergonomics on the p320" lol. And for the price of creating a modular gun you could just like i dont know... buy a second gun?

    I own all 3 all optic ready versions. My p320 is my favorite to shoot, my Glock is just a work horse and I mainly carry my M&P 2.0. I don't trust the p320 with all the lawsuits going on, but I still love it. I also have the M&P 2.0 spec OR. That one is my pretty gun lol.

    I shot all three. For my small hands I kept on getting slide malfunctions with the P320 X-Compact, I had a ton of muzzle flip and the “ears” on the rear sight block out a lot of your target. The M&P the slide release on the right side of the gun is useless as a left handed shooter. As for the Glock it was the best for me as a left handed shooter and once I was able to get use to the grip angle it actually forces my support hand to go into the modern 45 degree thumbs forward grip.

    • @armedgunman01
      @armedgunman01 ปีที่แล้ว

      The slide release on the m&p is not a slide release..that's why it's" useless " ..its a slide lock not ment to be a slide release

  • @christiandinero8083
    @christiandinero8083 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    depends on the person and their hands and their uses for the gun. personally shoot the glock really well. however, with my modern thumbs forward grip and my large hands i get slide bite with my glock every time i shoot it. it’s quite annoying. on the flip side, i don’t get that with a p320 but i find it to be a more flippy shooter when it comes to recoil due to the slightly higher bore axis.

I'm a first time gun owner, and the cz75 has great factory sights, its comfortable to hold, I was hitting like a 10ish inch group from 20 feet. The only con was it was far too big to conceal comfortably. I'm still unsure between the cz75 and the sig p320. If the p10 is similar to the 75, ill buy it right now lmao.

    I have 3 glocks, one Sig p320 xfull. I love Glock and the sig p320. The Glock has a history of reliability, but the sig p320 is factually more versatile due to its modularity. What would I rely to save my life? Glock, but that’s not to say The p320 you can as well. I just need more experience with it.

    • @red2977

      I'm not sure I buy into that. Seems like a lot of complaints come from cops. These are the same people who can be suspended or even lose their job for negligent discharges so they have an incentive to leave out anything they may have done that contributed to the discharge. People throwing their firearm into a purse that isn't designed to carry firearms or using holsters that aren't specifically designed for the firearm they are carrying etc. I'm just not buying the issue with the p320 as being clearly established beyond the repairs they made during the voluntary recall. Glocks have been accused in the past of magically going off by cops as well.

    • @wsalas13
      @wsalas13 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@red2977 I read the four different studies that the various agencies forwarded that detailed their reasoning for making the switch...in none of their studies was there any mention of an accidental discharge...the constant in the studies were the weapons' malfunctions while operators were on the line after significant use, but under the normal stresses of range usage for an LEO...
      I will also add that the studies were very comprehensive with data points collected from across the country...
      However, those studies were conducted almost 2 years ago...and I, now retired, am quite certain they have done their due diligence to rectify their issues since...Hopefully.
      But it should be further noted that when the various agencies requested replacement parts...the parts they received also had the same problems... and it was documented several times that the company even sent the wrong parts back...
      additionally, further research was conducted...it was determined that the company had outsourced for the requested replacement parts...so basically, in the end, it was determined that the weapons posed a significant liability risk on the streets...thus those agencies and PDs chose to make the transition. Mind you, to make that transition brought significant costs to these departments and agencies...in the millions...studying new weapons, purchasing, training on new weapon, new holsters, etc.

    In what way is the Gen5 trigger pull better than the Gen4 with the dot connector? The Gen3 has the best trigger. The Gen4 with the dot connector is marginally acceptable. The Gen5 and Slimline Glocks have awful triggers. The creep is terrible with those models.

    i own all three and I will tell you that I've never been a fan of Glock, its ugly, damn 22 degree grip angle, I just hate them. Sure they work, but i shoot them high because of the damn grip angle and I refuse the retrain myself so that Gen 5 is collecting dust.
    The M&P is my go to and EDC on most days. I also carry the 5" on duty for my job and carry the P365 or M2.0 Shield as my back-up.
    I Have the 3 P320s, the carry model with full-size grip modules, M17 with Wilson Combat grip module on order and the 320 Legion. I'm s Sig and M&P guy for the most part.
    You guys should talk about another good entry level, cost effective gun that is gaining popularity, a few of which I own, the Canik TP9 Series. They are better than Taurus and have the best trigger of any striker fire gun out of the box for the cost. Just saying, I tell many of my students and first time gun owners to check them out when asked my opinion of what would be good and inexpensive.
