Joshua Bressel haha this is completely false, if you knew anything about manufacturing related to mil-spec you’d know that you can’t just change the mil-specs, either the company can produce the firearm or part as needed by the military or they don’t get the contract, the DoD wouldn’t and didn’t change anything about their requirements. The problems with the first generation of M17s had growing problems but can you honestly tell me of one new firearm or any product really that didn’t have growing pains during manufacturing? No, you can’t. Plus I can tell you’re a glock fanboy (no need to tell me) because you’re distorting the truth to create this narrative that military just wanted the M17 because it was cheap and not the fact that it hit every single military specification as it should, and don’t even try bringing up that garbage that “they rewrote mil-spec” because it really shows how clueless you are.

@garandthumb just FYI.... "Height over bore" refers to the measurement between the centerline of the bore to the centerline of the sight primarily a scope. Mainly a data point for long range shooting or POI/POA for pistol sights hence the word "height OVER bore". You're thinking of closeness to bore axis.

For the freeze dried LRRP rations, Chili Con Carne was even worse.

Really like how they do their slide serrations. Honestly thinking about getting a smith to machine a P320 spectre comp slide in a similar fashion due to the factory not being that great.
PVD isn't a coating as much as it's a coating method. Physical Vapor Deposition, simply refers to the method of application, and not what is being applied.
I imagine Wilson combats gunsmiths are "Demigods Navy seal Pilots" and this is why there guns cost so much.

MRE story I was on an active airbase for a summer training camp, and we had a 2 day FTX and during that time a group of people went around asking everyone for there crackers, nobody qeustion3d it.(they traded me 2 full meals a taco, and a beef sausage for half a dozen crackers) after we got back to barracks I was going door to door asking for a special type of paper, and they said they had some in a drawer, I opened up the drawer and they had over 400 MRE crackers. We weren’t aloud food in the barracks and 400 opened MRE crackers stored like bricks of cocaine raises a little bit of suspicion. And they almost got sent home because of it. (They where 4 provinces over, and they’d send you home on bus if you left early (36 hour drive)
After Katrina, the national guard brought some MRE’s to our dorm and i had no idea what the hell I was doing. I ended up throwing it in the sink, and a few minutes later it started smoking so I panicked and threw it out the window, but i didnt know they put a dumpster under my window so now the dumpster was smoking. I didn’t eat any more MRE’s after that.
I Gucci’ed a P320 via Jagerwerks almost identically to the WC setup. Certainly some validation to my vision for the P320

One time in the barracks a friend had a mere and wanted to heat it up. The only problem is that he had no heater. So he improvised. He thought it was a smart idea to use an Iron. 2 years ago my friends and I went to a Milsim West event. They are 40 hour full immersion events with no breaks meaning you eat, sleep and shit in the "combat" area. Well we brought MRE's to eat and they honestly weren't tht bad. The Fettucini is decent and the Chicken Cubes as well. I ate one of the those cheese tubes so I didn't have to shit the whole time. BUT, if you ever have an MRE, DO NOT, I repeat DO NOT eat the GARLIC BREAD. It tasted like a Ceramic Brick with Garlic Spice sprinkled on it. It was hard and dry as well and it just made me want to end my suffering as soon as I bit it. The End.
When we first started getting MREs with the garlic bread they were pretty good, but shortly after that they definitely went down in quality. Don’t know what happened but that alone made me hate the entire MRE

Based on your videos, I tried BDU. Can't say I'm overly impressed with the selection and availability they offer. Part of that may be due to the current state of affairs, but there was not enough to justify the monthly fee. Add to that, they spam you with email, and that really gets on my nerves.

Wilson Combat is one of the worst companies I have dealt with on Customer Service. They screwed up the price for the optic cut and charged me more than double what I was quoted. They charge me the full gun-smithing cost of tearing down a slide, stripping it, re-coating it, machining and reassembly on a new firearm. Half the steps aren't needed when building a new gun, so they're just gouging everyone there. Then they screwed up the refund because naturally, I hate lying companies and don't do business with them. And as they did the refund, they screwed up those instructions too. Be prepared to not only be screwed on the cost, but if anything goes wrong with the gun, expect to be screwed again.

Ok, MRE story time I guess. When I was in basic, we had a dude who didn’t know what the silica packets were that came in the packets of cakes. He thought they were seasoning packets and would ask others for their “seasoning” packets out of their desserts. A drill Sgt caught him, asked what he was doing and if he knew what he was eating. He had no idea, so the drill Sgt took him to sick call to get checked out. Afterwards, we started calling him stay fresh throughout basic. The nickname stuck and even the Brigade CSM caught wind of it and starting calling him stay fresh.
