In foster care I remember living with a family for a few months where the dad was a huge Simpson fan. It was kind of a bigger deal then because this was an adult man who watch this cartoon 😂 Your antics are just too funny, Ricky. I'm not the biggest Simpson fan in the world, however. I did come across that same first box set and purchased it. I remember that episode where Michael Jackson did the voice for that crazy white guy who thought he was Michael Jackson 😂if I'm not mistaken. That is the same episode where Homer gets institutionalize for wearing a pink shirt to work. 😁

These roughly 1+ foot tall toys that had remote controllers that would move and shoot "lasers" at each other and detect when the battle light flashed at them. They looked and were epic. Another favorite another Christmas or two later were the Battle Beetles which worked the same way but have interchangeable beetle armor that could be knocked off; they fought by touch so they'd stop running after taking so much "damage" (if I remember correctly).
