A Story of Hope (and Yoga) in Los Angeles

In 2020, Los Angeles' longest running yoga studio, Center for Yoga, was on the brink of permanent closure. This episode is the story of how one devoted yoga student, Katharine DeShaw, went to work making phone calls to raise community support and funds to allow Center for Yoga to open its doors again.

thank you 🙏 so much. I have a small studio in a small city in the UK and sometimes it feels like a sinking boat, we are celebrating next month only 3yrs of being open, we feel so unequipped so lost 😞. Every day I ask myself if it’s worth it 🙈, everything we have is going into it. So thank you for this inspiring video, sometimes i think because we are small and very young we struggle more, but everyone is having huge challenges. You’ve inspired me to reach out and look for someone that would want to support us, keep growing the yoga community in Southampton. We are the only yoga studio, 90% of our students started their yoga practice with us and I don’t want them to loose that 😔. Thank you for the great work you and Jason do 😘
