I live in the flight path of 28l and 28r, and personally I like the noise. It's fun to hear planes fly over and watch them, but also ive lived with it my entire life so unless im trying to I don't even hear it. Also I heard a plane landing at sfo as I was typing this comment.
Aside from the tower controllers, who are great, most of the controllers who talk to your plane in and out of SFO work at Northern California TRACON in Sacramento. Cool people. 👍
do you resolve local residents' noise issue or are you just another job? I welcome you to come experience the problem we have with because you are not doing your job.
Why are more airplanes flying over my home nonstop, including as late as 1:30am, and as early as 4:30am? I can’t sleep, been getting migraines. Please implement non-flying hours during sleeping timeframe. Thank you.

I've actually toured the noise reduction room. It was AWESOME. I love the animation of the air traffic, it really is cool.
Would love to see an inside SFO feature on the air traffic controllers. It'll be nice to put a face to the voices guiding us to safety :)

These NIMBYS crying about noise is laughable.during the 80’s I remember 727s and other high bypass jets being way louder than anything heard today
My ex use to work in Noise Abatement at SFO back in the 1980s when they used a Data General minicomputer to track the noise data.

The reverse thrust noise is the worst. I can't even sleep at night because of SFO so the hell you those of you that think it's no big deal. It is.
