OMG dude you are so Understandable I knew nothing at all about a sway Bar or where it goes on my Subaru Forester, however by watching you explain what they are, where it goes on your car and how it fits and why it is needed, Sir you are a very good teacher and i am sure a good mechanic as well, I am commenting from my Home in Austin, Texas USA
The stopping bracket is installed incorrectly. The way it is currently installed is the same has having nothing, you have 1-2cm distance from the bush. It should be flush with the bush on the mount if you want it to do it's job.
Iaght mate. I bought a Perrin adjustable bar. Both are great. But I went with Perrin because they gave me exact metal used. I googled that metal and it was the same one used on the wings of commercial airplanes. Once added to the rear, it was a huge improvement to my non turbo. I wish I could have added one to the front for a better balance. Nonetheless I was able to zig zag with any European suv. They looked at me me stunned every time.
so many people have issues w the sway of the car i wish the salesman would have told me this car is bouncy and rolls like the rough seas. how much will this reduce the rolling? anything help by 50%?
So I have a 2000 Subaru Forester that I wanna do a swap on. I know a little bit but I don't have the experience to make the best decisions on upgrades in general. I don't see many videos on the older Subaru foresters but I'd love to hear your take on inexpensive modifications. Whether it's about the engines and what to swap in and how to turbo it or about the suspension and things to upgrade. My build so far is an offroad build with a lift on it already, the next step is more power without spending a ridiculous amount. Any info is great!
MRT.... by upgrading the sway bar in the XT, does it affect off road capability? I am considering changing out the sway and just wanted to know. Cheers and great informational video!
Yes it will due to the stiffness of the stabilizer bar it will lift your wheels more in air during off road..this is the reason many hard offroaders removed their stabilizer bar
Yes. It will have an effect on articulation. The opposite side wheel will leave the ground sooner. Look at Golf GTIs lifting the inside rear wheel in auto-crossing. It is also why top level Wranglers (Rubcon trim) come with automatic sway bar disconnects. Sway bars disconnected give maximum articulation and keep more tire on the ground longer (over uneven terrain)
I’d like to order a rear kit for a 2016 XT right hand drive. I’ve a cousin in Brisbane who will do the ordering on my behalf. Could you send your website link please?
MRT Performance ths for your reply. i tried last night, apparently this sway bar have the 2 extra holes for attachment and also it's a much longer than the stock one. by the time i put it in between the 2 wheels. it was so long that the 2 bushes holder were on the way. i guess the only way now is lift the back of the car up, so that the wheel can drop down a little so i can insert it and lower it to the ground to start put jtje screws on... ps i bought this from you on ebay btw edit: after 2nd try. i managed to fit in only after taking off the endlink of the stock sway bar -_-
Hey guys i have the Forester Xt 09 2.5lt turbo Td04. Want to add 3" exhaust and performance air cleaner. Just want a device for map tuning. Cobb's Accessport vs EZY-FLASH pro tuner??
The bean counters want the end product as cheap as possible. The ride also depends on many factors, if the car is brand new and tight and the roads you drive on are billiard table smooth, you may not need to upgrade. If not, they are a great improvement, keeping the car straighter on uneven roads, better turn in etc etc.

You guys should open a shop in Colorado or Utah. The US needs you! :-)
thanks
MrMinecraftAtlantis Truly. Utah and Colorado please. You would have Subaru's lining up for miles if there was a shop like this.
Or in Washington State! Same thing, Subaru's would be lining up for miles! Definite lack of shops that will install after market parts around here!
Vermont also, the sooner the better...

yes at the time of the video it was not correct
Pedro Teixeira I think the guy knows what he's doing 👍🏻

I second this comment/question!! MRT any comment on how it would affect offroad worthiness??
This is my exact same question as well. Would not like to affect wheel travel and articulation by installation stiffer sway bar....

Hi should the groove in the support bracket be on the right
how are you supposed to utilize the stiffer setting with those end-links as they don't reach the holes?
They do reach the holes, you might just need to prop up the rear wheels to unload the bar.
is it worth doing this to the turbo diesel model?
Can I remove it completely for more comfort?

is there a trick to fit this sway bar into the fxt 2016 without lifting of car or taking other part out, because its extremely tight spaces?
you should be able to fit this on the gporund

hmm, thanks for your purchase, bummer on the fitting hassle
:(
Do you recommend the flexible strut tower bar for the front?
I woulddo other parts before that
MRT Performance interested in learning what those parts are!
sway bars, power aand brakes
*fantastic*

Anyone have this upgrade and can comment on how much better the car handles?
Did u guys changed the end link as well? And do u find it necessary to do so?
optional
MRT Performance
What sway bar
хотелось бы понять об чём речь?
If the engineers didn’t make it that way why do this
