It bothers me that everyone is explaining what they can do with it like none of us have ever used a lunchbox before - like - that is what an insulated bag does. Awesome - thanks for sharing.
Me seeing this video 2 months after it was posted was when I learned there was hype over this bag. My partner got me one as a gift. He didn’t know there was hype either 😂. It’s a cute lunch box but I wouldn’t line up for one.
As a teen girl since not watching TikTok this whole summer my mental health has significantly improved. I only use it for recipes now. I’ll stick to Instagram reels and shorts for now.
I actively seek free insulated bags from places haha, I will never need to buy one for my lunch. These the same people who be saying things are too expensive and that they're broke
I’m so anti whatever the crowd is doing for this exact reason! The Barbie movie spent millions on advertising but we’re gonna act like it’s our idea to create a trendy little meme out of wearing pink and going? Plus that stuff was product placement for a toy & used a talented screenwriter to cleverly avoid all valid criticism of the brand (body image issues, consumerism, rigid gender roles)
At Aldi in Germany they have an inhouse brand called Trader Joes I think for ice tea and American stuff and so I thought the video was about people battling at Aldi at the offer section for those bags for 5,99 or so😂 That wouls at least be a good price…
Let me just say that you are on it, and HILARIOUS at the same time! I have been woke about this consumerism for quite some times now! Keep preaching and posting. 🤣New subscriber!
I’ve had a large Ozark Trail lunchbox in a blue color ever since May 2021, been 3 years going strong and has very little wear and tear on it. Even if I were to get something a little extra as far as a lunchbox goes I’ll just get something that’s meaningful for me like a Lakers lunchbox and I’d still be happy either way
I had a bought a lunch bag on clearance at Walmart for $1 and used it for a while but found it was too small so I gave it to my 8yo daughter for her field trips since she liked it. There was a specific lunch bag I was looking for…one with longer straps and I couldn’t find anything that fit my need regarding the strap length and the size of the bag I was in need of. I refused to pay for a lunch bag that was exactly what i was needing. Went to the thrift store one day and decided to go in the purse section to see if I could find a bag I could use as a lunch bag and lo and behold I found exactly what I needed and it was WASHABLE!!!!! That bag was ONLY $3.99!!!
I think this is an example of not everyone is broke, everyone is not going through hard times, if they are then consumerism is more important then putting food on the table and paying bills. If anyone is thinking about entrepreneurship this should be a great example of where you need to start, study the trends and duplicate it 🤷🏽♀️
Don’t get me wrong, I think it’s cute and I love Trader Joe’s so if I had happened to come across it while doing my weekly shopping I would have grabbed one, but ain’t no way I’m gonna pay 200 dollars are heck look for it online to buy. It’s a bag like it is not that serious 😂
I'm a tote bag collector, in a sense. I get the independent artist ones with the kawaii aesthetics like Sanrio, Totoro, Pokemon and others. And seeing this tote bag. Its not even cute and it doesn't even fit on your shoulder. Like whyyyyyyy 😂
they did the same thing with the “brazilian nut” line last year. i just finally picked some up this week (and yes it does smell like sol de). but if there’s one thing i realized when i was collecting sneakers as a teen… things ALWAYS come back in stock. do not give your money to these resellers; if it sold well enough, it’ll come back around in due time & God will reward you for it
At this point they really need to just make it *ILLEGAL* to resell anything with in a year of release for more than the price it originally was. The fact that it’s legal to sell a bag that was $3.99 for over $200 is *EVIL*
I almost exclusively shop thrift stores and I can tell you in a year or two these will be all over the stores, piled up selling for a dollar or two. I see it with all the other trends.
Y’all that want to get this mini insulated bag just literally wait a week or two and I’ll be something else. How did you guys not learn with the Stanley Cup? How quickly these fads just go away? It’s really not worth it and honestly we need to stop with all this consumerism when y’all are poor as shit. I love your channel so much girl because you finally point out the stuff that I’ve been thinking to myself for a long time and it’s about time others heard it. We’re literally struggling financially, but yet cannot stop spending on things that just do not matter. I have to wonder why you guys that need these things, need them so badly. Where is your personality? You’re a grown adult. Do you think of this makes you a better person? Is it your fear of missing out? You have to really really dive deep to find out why you feel comfortable being manipulated by strangers who do not care about you
I thought this was old news, but then it turns out to be about insulated bags. I know people like to feel 'involved', but why can't it be about something good? Why can't people suddenly be crazy obsessed with recycling, picking up trash at the beach, volunteering at an old folk's home/ orphanage/ pet shelter?
I’m not a fan of the colors or the little palm tree design, but I do admit that 3.99 for an insulated lunch bag is not a bad price. However, the craze around them and exorbitant resale price is insane. I used to only see lines like this for things like new video games or black Friday TV sales. Lunch boxes and water bottles? Interesting.
So I use a cooler & I’m in desperate need for a new one because the one I have does not keep my food cool throughout the day. I’d really like to invest in something that truly world as I need it. When this lady said ‘it’s so cute I can keep my snacks for the beach’.. like sis a lunchbox?
When people started carrying reusable grocery bags, because it was trendy, it was not about saving the planet, I was already doing it because I'm legally blind and I use public transportation. So I have to strategically figure out how I'm going to get my groceries from the store to home while on the Metro bus. So I have insulated bags for survival reasons. Not because they're trendy. My son has a small insulated bag because he's a type 1 diabetic and so that he could literally live, he has to keep food on him 24/7. I do try to find insulated bags reusable grocery bags, and lunch bags that reflect our personality. But being able to live as a type 1 diabetic, and being able to get my groceries home, to my family without them spoiling because I have to use public transportation is the objective. The primary objective.
Wow, on the insulated bag let me see I can go to the dollar tree get one for $1.25 and fix it all up and no one would know the difference and if they could know the difference then that shows me that the very very Very materialistic! Wow, I bought my stuff from dollar tree and what I don’t find at dollar tree if I need it not want it need it. I will go to Walmart, not worried about the hype of things the popular things more part of the functional things. My mother just died recently, and it really put me in part of my life where I care more about people and caring about those people in my life then actual monetary materialistic stuff?

not the trader joes handbag again?? is this a new starbucks 💀 I would never understand how Americans mind works...
Me either and I live here. SMH
We have trend buying all of the time. We have sneaker heads here, there was a beanie baby craze, there are Disney collectors. This is just a very American practice since the 30's.
If you actually are in need of a tote bag or lunch box, you can just go to ANY store.... at ANY time. I'll never understand the delusion.
LMAO people have no lives idk. I started taking classes last spring to learn ASL and a NURSE, a NURSE said "math is pointless, I'll never use the Pythagorean theorem." I was Pikachu face after she said that! Here I am finishing a photovoltaics lecture and it was all trigonometry. She's the type to say "run don't walk" to wherever to get whatever. Just shocking.
As a crew member, I appreciate EVERY word you said. 🤭
you keep me sane.
I'm so glad I help in any way! WE DON'T HAVE TO BE LIKE THEM for the sake of spending just to be in this trend!
I have the bigger version of that bag because I wanted something insulated to help me carry my groceries in my apartment and I had a gift card. I didn’t know it was a craze for the bigger one until I was checking out. 🤦🏾♀️
I’m going to visit America (Vermont) soon and I want to go to Trader Joe’s because it looks so cool and there aren’t any in my country, but I hope there won’t be any Trader Joe’s craziness when I go… I don’t want to have to stand in line to get in the store😅
It bothers me that everyone is explaining what they can do with it like none of us have ever used a lunchbox before - like - that is what an insulated bag does. Awesome - thanks for sharing.
To be so young, you have sooo much common sense and foresight!
She 31, she's a whole ass adult. And this is, as you said, common sense
Don't put the bar in the Mariana trench
i agree with all of this but plenty of us cook our own food lets not generalize.
$200 on poshmark?! That’s insane
RIGHT!?
Me seeing this video 2 months after it was posted was when I learned there was hype over this bag. My partner got me one as a gift. He didn’t know there was hype either 😂. It’s a cute lunch box but I wouldn’t line up for one.
As a teen girl since not watching TikTok this whole summer my mental health has significantly improved. I only use it for recipes now. I’ll stick to Instagram reels and shorts for now.
You should make a video about restock videos!!
It’s like all the parents fighting over popular “it” toys at Christmas. I never did that. Well, I might have done it once or twice. 😂
Can you imagine if they made Pastel colour variants of those bags? Oh boy, we all would be done for. Crazy!
This is not what they mean when people say 'Get that bag 💰' 😭😭
I actively seek free insulated bags from places haha, I will never need to buy one for my lunch. These the same people who be saying things are too expensive and that they're broke
I’m convinced that some people are only there to buy and resell them online
The more I watch your videos the more I want to be your friend. Thanks for talking about all those things 🙌🏻 Yeah we’re definitely lost ☠️
Yaaaaay another video from u so soon! Ur my new fave utuber ❤
At Aldi in Germany they have an inhouse brand called Trader Joes I think for ice tea and American stuff and so I thought the video was about people battling at Aldi at the offer section for those bags for 5,99 or so😂
That wouls at least be a good price…
Aldi sells similar items , recently got a insulated foldable picnic basket from Aldi it’s dope
Let me just say that you are on it, and HILARIOUS at the same time! I have been woke about this consumerism for quite some times now! Keep preaching and posting. 🤣New subscriber!
It’s a lunch bag people…🤦🏾♀️
It's a status symbol to some 😂
Never downloaded tiktok because I dont have time for any more mindless addictions!!!
Literally they have cuter ones for cheaper at dollar stores. I thought it would have pockets or something at least😂
It didn't have pockets?? AIN'T NO WAY! 😂
The point about no one cooking so there’s no leftovers to carry in the bag is spot on😂
I’ve had a large Ozark Trail lunchbox in a blue color ever since May 2021, been 3 years going strong and has very little wear and tear on it. Even if I were to get something a little extra as far as a lunchbox goes I’ll just get something that’s meaningful for me like a Lakers lunchbox and I’d still be happy either way
You're on track to have 200k subscribers in the next 2 years. So happy for you ❤❤❤😊😊😊
Omg i have this bag! Didnt know there was so much drama around it? My friend bought it for me.
So true. Well said!
It's crazy that people are buying bags that they don't even WANT! Like that's wild
What makes me mad is these people clog up the store for those trying to get groceries! 😂 pls i just need to stick my house in peace.
It’s a bag like it is not that serious 😂
in my country south africa you can get a bag like this at literally any pep, clicks, or checkers shop 😂😂😂😂
I hate society. I work 18 hours days, saving every penny I can do that I can buy 5 acres in a rural area and be as far away from this as possible.
I sew my own totes and bags. Feels creative. Can hold a ton of weight. Washes and dries well.
I need someone to explain why it’s so special.
they did the same thing with the “brazilian nut” line last year. i just finally picked some up this week (and yes it does smell like sol de).
but if there’s one thing i realized when i was collecting sneakers as a teen… things ALWAYS come back in stock. do not give your money to these resellers; if it sold well enough, it’ll come back around in due time & God will reward you for it
they are hideous, like for actual children but grown adults are drooling at the mouth for neon lunch boxes
I absolutely love the tough love. We need this to be deinfluenced of all this nonsense.
What’s crazy is that the bag is basic as hell. As wild as it is at least the Stanley cups are cute and have cute colors
You have to really really dive deep to find out why you feel comfortable being manipulated by strangers who do not care about you
I agree, THEY DIDN'T LEARN! Maybe we need to start a "Think Before You Buy" series on the channel. ❤️
I would love that 🤩🤩🤩@@SocialSymone
I thought this was old news, but then it turns out to be about insulated bags. I know people like to feel 'involved', but why can't it be about something good? Why can't people suddenly be crazy obsessed with recycling, picking up trash at the beach, volunteering at an old folk's home/ orphanage/ pet shelter?
Right!? 📢
All the trends are coming to a thrift store near you.
Update: The resell market for that Trader Joes insulated mini bags, has cratered.
@@marcelrobinson Ooop 😳
Where are all these picnics folks are going to? They are not even that cute. 😒
You can literally find a cuter lunch bag that’s insulated at TJ Maxx or Marshall’s.
Who has time for this?
CONSUMERISM DOESN'T DISCRIMINATE SO EVERYBODY 😞 ESPECIALLY IMPRESSIONABLE PEOPLE!
people with no meaning in their lives
I think its a sense of community people want to talk about how they have the bags with other people who have them
I get it kinds but when does it stop? There's something new every month!!! 😂
The size is cute and practical. But I already own this kind of bag and it’s never more than $5
I’m not a fan of the colors or the little palm tree design, but I do admit that 3.99 for an insulated lunch bag is not a bad price. However, the craze around them and exorbitant resale price is insane. I used to only see lines like this for things like new video games or black Friday TV sales. Lunch boxes and water bottles? Interesting.
Well, we do need something to put in the storage units.
I am happy with my Igloo cooler in the retro blueish greenish color. Although no lie, I almost bought the Whataburger version just because.
But you did YOU and thats okay. 💕💕💕
Didn’t they do this mayhem for Stanley cups?😂
Oh yessss!!! 😫
