Happy to see you putting out so much stuff recently, as someone who plays tanks casually (havoc main) I really missed your perspective on the classes, much more useful and easy to follow than the super hardcore guys’s guides 😂
I've started playing WoW few days ago. Liked the druid, so I picked that class. Your video has title Beginners's guide, which caught my attention, but the very first thing you've started to talk about are talents deep in the tree, I'm guessing around level 60. This is considered to be a beginner's stuff in WoW?
This is really informational and helpful. thank you for taking the time to make this! Only thing I would suggest is maybe breaking down the rotation a little more. I'm not very good at the game in general lol so I am a little slower at getting rotations down than others also. I really loved how you broke the talents down and explained what interacts with what.
I'm going to be honest, the first time I played Bear I was super excited because it was fun. Then I seen how much everyone hates them and it turned me off from it. I still want to, but I don't want to be left out of things because I'm a bear.
Hey Mazorrok, first i have to say : Thank u so much sir, for ur massive Bear Content ! Iam completely new as a Tank and also as a Druid. What do u think about a NoCarn Build for the first keys ? Much greetz from Germany ! \m/
Still think flashing claw should go back to where it was maybe buff it back to 30%. And thorns moonfire would be much better. Gore and galactic guardian 2s cd procs is probably the most importent to get the most value out of to get rage to spend so incarn is up more often. My Prefered comp is double priest, enhance with wf and Warrior. Pi you out of lust, and Pi enh + war in lust. After that try keep Pi on the bear 25% for 40 sec is insane during incarn.
Bear does stupid damage in algathar and nokhud. I know metawise it's still not too great but it's also kinda underrated imo.. even in raids i usually end up competing with some of the dps players
Thanks for the Guide, I just started a week ago, along with Brewmaster most fun spec. I don't plan to go past KSM, not going to do anything on high level in a pug group, which I play most :D This week I feel I'm getting shredded, so do I mostly walk around and not take direct hits? Sometimes I walk in circles, I just don't know what I need to do to avoid annoying my DPS group too much :). I never ever spend rage on raze (unprocced). I also like using Heart of the Wild, I basically use that and berserk oww shit packs and try to time that around that. My most made mistake is, pressing 2 CDs at the same time, but I mostly do that when the healer's sleeping, since these valor groups are pretty lazy :D . One question on Moonlight, since when I hover over the enemy, I don't see it saying anything on 10% dmg reduction, so not sure how that one works. I assume, when I hit a mob with moonfire, as long as moonfire is active on that mob, I get 10% dmg red. or it works different ? I also really like HotW, long CD, but it's a good one to have!
@@mazthemetaltailor Cheers Sir. One final question, many times I feel it's better to kite or be on the move at least, but I'm trying not to annoy my DPS team too much. Any tips for that? :)
@@jacktihs2963 Hey mate, Warlock main here. As long as you kite the mobs inside my AoE I don't care what you do lol. Only time I get frustrated and a little murdery is when the tank sees me throw down RoF and runs the mobs out of it.
as a resto druid main looking at this.. i'm wondering.. can i just switch to guardian with my healing gear on and start tanking ? only switch trinkets from int to agil or not ? how does that work ?
moonfire at a distance is a lot stronger than it seems, prio the targets you absolutely want threat on or you know your dps generally target first. Thrash and Ironfur with thorns of Iron active has helped me a lot, so moonfire at range, Thrash, mangle ironfur seem to be good enough although that all depends on how quickly some dps specs decide to burst lol
You say beginners guide " 1st time you've picked up the spec" But keep talking about mythic plus. I think you and I have different ideas of " Beginner" I'm level 10. Want to try a druid.
Hey there friend! Most of WoWs game only really begins at level cap. Leveling is a great time for trying out new abilities and talents and discovering what works for you since there's little need for builds. I'll be relooking the video and seeing if an update is needed, or perhaps a better way to convey that information.
not anything against you, but you lied, you said this is for a "beginning guardian", but the talents you are hyping, are what lvl 70 druid?.. a level 60 doesn't have access to all those talents, so your guide leaves many holes.. can you make a new guide for levels up to 60, for those that actually beginners ... thank you for your content and keep it up
You can take the majority of tips and remove the pieces that you dont have the level for. But 60 is not beginner, 60 isnt even a fully leveled character which leaves alot of your final level talents unlearned, the ones that smooth out your rotation will not be there. Id focus entirely on learning with the tools you have, guardian is good fun you have alot of defensives to prevent you making too many mistakes!
Thank you so much for this- couldn’t ask for a better guide for a newbie!
Just got into being a guardian druid. This came out at the perfect time for me. Thanks so much for doing this

Tyty! I'll be focusing a lot more tanking videos, tried experimenting with other stuff but tanking is the play.. Discovered a lot though!
The tree seems pretty fluid, nice
commenting to help your engagement! goodluck making this fulltime :)

Thank you for this video, I appreciate these videos. I am new to tanking and am playing Guardian Druid.
After stumbling on this video, looks like I’m leveling my druid. Thanks for the great video, you’ve got my sub!

I should have done a follow up video solely on rotation, which I may just do anyway! tyty!
@@mazthemetaltailor that would be so awesome and thanks so much for having a positive attitude when people make suggestions. Means a lot!

Can you give me an idea on how to macro ironfur to an ability like thrash? Ive heard about this but unsure how to it? Thanks

So I have ironfur macro’d to both thrash and mangle. But I wonder if just one is enough to not run out of rage?
FOR THE ALGORITHM!!!
I think if you manage all the twenty different ways to mitigate, magic damage isn’t too bad haha
I really dislike how raze replaces maul..i'd rather never take raze and use it somewhere else

what would you recommend for secondary stats on this build?
Haste/vers/mastery/crit.. Haste until you get to a comfortable number

Of course! All armor has agi and int, how easy that transition will be about your stat weights(not sure what resto runs), but you can aboslutely do it

This is a guide for beginners actually getting into content. The only content you're doing at level 60 is leveling. This isn't a leveling guide. . .
