"Nie lubię tej opcji" isn't really natural, no native would say it like that - maybe "Nie podoba mi się ta opcja" would be better (pretty much the same, it's just more gramatically correct?) LUBIĆ (ja lubię) is more universal ig - "nie lubię pomidorów" (I don't like tomatoes), "lubię Jana" (I like John - in more friendly or just universal way, bc he's nice as a person), "nie lubię rosji" (I don't like russia). The verb "lubić" is used to talk about interests (and likings), but also about sympathy for someone or something. PODOBAĆ SIĘ (podoba mi się) may be used in context of liking of someone's/something's visual appearance - "podoba mi się Julia" (I like/I'm INTO Julia), "podoba mi się ten rysunek" (I like this drawing - from technical side, "lubię ten rysunek" would be more accurate if you talk abt drawing you like bc eg. your sister drew it for you, it arouses some emotions, but both version can be used for that yk) orr smth more 'abstract'- "nie podoba mi się ta opcja/ten pomysł" (I don't like this option/idea), "nie podoba mi się twój sposób myślenia" (I don't like your way of thinking - and, again, from more 'technical' side) so let's say that "lubić" focuses more on emotional view of something, while "podobać się" describes contentment (or dissatisfaction) of smth from the 'outside'/more technical side mark, that it's not 100% proffesional advice, but i see it like this as a native, and i'm also quite interested in the rules of language etc, so i hope it'll be helpful
